On the brink of losing the war, the Sidhe elders sacrificed themselves and the elven capital city to destroy the seven kings and their armies. As one of the few surviving elves, you embark on a quest for vengeance against those who slaughtered your friends, family, and entire race.

This is the best Doom-inspired game ever made.

Pick up the remaster.
This is another great adaption and production by the legendary John Romero. It has the solid engine that the classic Ultimate DOOM has and in this game they also added items. I am, after playing this for 4 hours, not sure if the items actually are necessary, but it is nice to be able to use familiar items like invincibility on command. This gives you the opportunity to strategize the game in a certain way. The only thing I don't like about this game, when you play it on hard, is the ammo management. Now I do understand that this adds to the level of difficulty, but for me it would've been better if there was just a little more, so that finding a secret would NOT be a necessity. Overall, very cool classic, music is alright, core gameplay solid, enemies sprite awesome, replay-ability is good. And a pro tip: Install ChocolateHeretic for customizing your controls easily. Trust me, it's better that way.
