One of my favorite rouge likes on steam.
The game has a fun concept, but it feels unfinished. There isn't enough replay value to make the meta progression grind appealing, and the 'sponsor' function (this game's version of an autobattler clan or synergy) is nonexistent when trying comps across factions. The balance is also off: ranged units steamroll with only mid-run upgrades, while melee units were too squishy even with an entire healing backline.
Put 12 hours into the game day 1, its pretty addicting.
This is an enjoyable little "auto-battle" game. If you haven't played an auto-battle game before, it's all about selecting the party members and customizing their: stats, skills, equipment, etc. and then watching how they perform. It's a little bit like a cross between Sim City / D&D.
Game is good for what it is. There are definitely room for improvements but there's no need to.
No updates/patches sense December of 2024 may be abandon-ware
