Heroes Suck

Pretty fun, but far, far too short and hardly worth the asking price for that sole reason. Me thinks this was worth five dollars, if that. As often times this seems more like a test game rather tha something that should be full release. Still, worth a try in a steep discount, but nothing more than that. I give it a 6/10.

Not worth $20... maybe 10. When I was done, I looked for some information about where the rest of the game was. I actually had fun until chapter 4, which seemed like a rush job. It was so out of place after hours of upgrading and building up my defenses to have the game just pause. And you can't even upgrade the town hall to level 5... Where the hell is the last piece of cheese? Also, fire the person that translated the story to English. I had to re-read every second sentence and interpret in my own head what they were trying to say. I love tower defense games, but this was so disappointing. Great start, horrible... I can't even call it an ending, except there was no reason to continue. I honestly thought there was going to be a pop up advertising "part two."

Having a BLAST! Game is extremely fun and doesn't waste your time! Best Indie game I've played in a while!

This game is simplified Dungeon Master type of game, but with just the meat and potatoes, which is awesome. I concluded the game in the hard difficulty, and it was fairly challenging, requiring some grinding. Wish there were more games of this type.

Game will not shut down and continues to run in the back ground. this is not a safe thing

I'm a sucker for games that bend genres, and enjoy seeing a fresh take on base construction/defense. Being rewarded for designing a base with branching and connecting paths for example was a highlight of my experience. It makes me curious how far that concept could be pushed as the map expands. I'd say it's a cozy/casual tower defense, fairly low pressure and fast paced. At least through the end of chapter 1. The game improves substantially with magic and building options after the prologue.
