Players praise the core mechanic of movable hero-towers and appreciate the strategic depth and well-designed hero interactions with different enemy types. However, the game is heavily criticized for excessive grinding that feels tedious and necessary to progress, broken achievements with inaccessible multiplayer content, and repetitive gameplay that doesn't reward skill, making it feel like a chore rather than an engaging experience.
Meh. Hero-type tower defence, so you can move your "towers". Nothing extra. But in the end, the old guy gets the girls, so thumbs up1 found this helpful
Some rewiews mention the game is grindy. This is a big understatement, this is way above the usual TD grindyness. This is the kind of ultra-grind you'd expect from an free game with in app purchase (there is none here). The gameplay is extremely limited and repetitive. Basically you have max 5 heroes (towers) and depending on the maps either lets them in place or rush them from point A to point b to face the different waves of enemies. Then you basicly replay the same levels over and over again to level up your heroes and village. Avoid this is just a time waster with very limited skills involved.1 found this helpful
Do not buy. Achievements are broken. MP servers are closed so not accessible. The least you can do as a courtesy was to remove the no longer obtainable MP achievements? but did you ? NO so I will no longer buy games from this developer.1 found this helpful
Buggy mess. I might get my $3 worth but I'm already severely annoyed by this game given I've had to force quit twice before even finishing the tutorial. I had to pause the game and the menu stopped responding both times. Couldn't unpause and no buttons worked. Then when I restarted the main menu took 30 seconds to appear. Also crashed on quitting from the main menu. All of the dialogue and story is absolutely horribly written. I don't think I'm going to finish this game and might even get a refund for $3 it's so bad. I don't think this game is worth it on it's 90% off sale it's a scam at $30.
great game once you get into it
Unbalanced. I don't want to lose five times in a row just to farm resources so that I can buy the upgrades to finally win.
