I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…3 found this helpful
No, just no. If you are thinking about getting this game, don't do it to yourself. I thought this would be a nice little game for when you have a few minutes to spare and was aware of some of the problems. But this game is much more buggy than I thought to the point that you can't really play it. - When you start the game it only ever opened on my second (much smaller) screen and I was not able to change that in the settings. - The maps are small and you only ever play the same ones. - The enemies are not on the map beforehand but spawn in around you, which is probably the most stupid design choice I have ever seen. - You character is extremely slow, the enemies extremely fast. If you choose a ranged character (hunter) to try and deal with them you are always at a disadvantage because your character stops to attack (even though the controls say they should not). The combat is a pain. - you can unlock/ level up abilities. I was only ever able to use 2 of the 4 I have for some reason. In a boss level my character even used them randomly, without me clicking the specific number - the "town" that is advertised consists of 3 houses (random stuff, armour and weapons) and an altar where…3 found this helpful

My first experience with the game was it crashing upon startup. Played three of the available classes but the game is very unbalanced and lacking in refinement that I don't wish to play more. Like the art style and concept but needs major work
Herolike is an indie action-RPG that blends classic hack-and-slash combat with light roguelike structure and a touch of town management, aiming to deliver a compact but replayable fantasy adventure. Developed by Games Hut and published by Plug In Digital, the game wears its inspirations openly, drawing from traditional dungeon crawlers and ARPGs while keeping its systems relatively simple and approachable. Rather than chasing cinematic storytelling or large-scale spectacle, Herolike focuses on repeatable runs, character growth, and the familiar satisfaction of cutting through monsters and improving your hero over time. The core gameplay loop revolves around venturing into hostile areas filled with enemies, traps, and random events, then returning to a central hub to prepare for the next outing. Players can choose from several distinct hero classes, each designed to support a different combat rhythm, from durable melee fighters to more fragile ranged or magic-focused characters. These class differences help keep early experimentation interesting, as each hero handles positioning, abilities, and resource management in slightly different ways. Combat itself is straightforward, emphas…
