About HexTD
Hex TD is a tower defense that the player has great freedom in how he will play the game and make each match a unique experience. The map is randomly generated, being totally free of the place where he wants to place his towers, thus being able to "draw" the path where the enemy must pass. Having the freedom to choose one class among 3, being the gameplay of each class very distinct from each other so that he has greater freedom to play TD in the way that suits him best. The fact that each map is unique, and their respective particularities also are, opens a range of options and variations game by game, along with the detail that the enemies have certain randomness, bringing the player a unique experience game by game.

Failure to repopulate next levels several times, therefore a game killing bug. All of the buttons work when this occurs (upgrades, buy and sell etc,) but the game is stuck on pause, and you have to start over.3 found this helpful
I had found this game intriguing in the past and had played through the campaign thoroughly, but coming back to it after starting on a fresh download - this game has some bugs. It stops at round 15, 9 times out of 10. and it just stops. like no progression whatsoever. Therefore I will just stop playing the game. Bye.2 found this helpful

I have been unable to complete a game, simply because the game freezes midway every time. Usually around level 30. Sometimes 35, depending on the size of the map. The campaign is buggy and unplayable beyond a certain point. The game starts without any cash meaning you can't build towers and die immediately. I'm not sure if this is still being developed or not. The questions on the discussion board haven't been answered, so possibly not. I'm drawn to it, because the open format appeals and the game has some interesting ideas, but i'd avoid buying it until it is clear whether the game is still being developed or not.1 found this helpful
Had a game breaking bug, otherwise was worth it for £2 as it was very fun and had a good take on the tower defence genre where you could easily block the enemy.1 found this helpful
As the rank 1 HexTD player in the world, my word is law. The game is fun and challenging, with stages that contain multiple spawn points and unexpected shapes. When I started my gameplay the only turrets that were out were the Mecha. Starcraft-like APM is necessary to play them, which separates the wheat from the chaff when it comes to the players' skills. More recently, the Elementals have been added which require lower APM, but more creative combinations of different turrets. The downsides are the presence of a lot of RNG in the Mecha turrets, which decrease the influence of skill to increase the influence of luck. Also, there are balancing issues that are still to be adressed. The more recent patches seem to have started dealing with that. Thus spake the Rank 1 HexTD Player in the World.
