Being free-to-play and open-source, I quite enjoyed this little game. It does very much feel like an early-access indie title, and yet I had quite a few fun moments while playing. The first few levels are somewhat boring and repetitive, but the open-world and vehicle levels later on are much better. Also, the graphics and especially the 3D models do look very nice. The only major issue is lots of stuttering, especially in the first few seconds after loading into a new level and when destroying an enemy. If the dev ever reads this: You really should make it more prominent that this game is open-source! That is probably this project's greatest strength, and yet it is not even mentioned anywhere.2 found this helpful

Игра 'Human Diaspora' - это глоток свежего воздуха в жанре градостроительных симуляторов. Оригинальная концепция, где ты управляешь немногочисленными выжившими после космической катастрофы, подкупает с первых минут. Необходимость постоянно балансировать между выживанием и развитием, исследовать новые технологии и налаживать отношения с другими фракциями делает каждый игровой цикл уникальным и захватывающим. Визуальный стиль игры, пусть и минималистичный, отлично передает атмосферу заброшенного и опасного мира. Музыкальное сопровождение создает нужное настроение - от тревожного чувства неизвестности до проблесков надежды. Однако, игра не лишена недостатков. Интерфейс порой кажется перегруженным, а кривая обучения может быть крутой для новичков в жанре. Не хватает более подробных туториалов и пояснений по некоторым механикам. В целом, 'Human Diaspora' - это нишевый, но очень интересный проект, который определенно заслуживает внимания любителей сложных градостроительных симуляторов и научно-фантастических сеттингов. Готовьтесь к множеству неудач и маленьких побед на пути к восстановлению человеческой цивилизации.
The game is quite hard and unforgiving. I constantly have to try again from the start. That's not fun. The graphics look artificial and not realistic. I don't like it.
Its a little buggy but it is pretty good. the music is pretty good too.
optimization is bad, gameplay is good, engine is bad, level desighn is bad.
