About Humanity Echo: Cyberpunk Tactical RPG
🏆 IN THE PRESS
"Thoughtful, grid-based firefights... where stray bullets can impact the field."— Turn Based Lovers🏙️ ODESA 2044. YOU ARE NOT A SOLDIER. YOU ARE AN ENGINEER.
Humanity Echo is a story-driven cyberpunk tactical RPG where you lead a squad through operations, prepare the battlefield, and gradually reshape Odesa through your decisions.A sun-baked, rusted coastal megacity where corporations play god and districts survive under occupation. Your father vanished inside a secret Prospect Corp facility. The trail leads through the Resistance, fanatics of the Order, and a corporate monopoly that controls half the city. There is no clean side. Only choices, consequences, and a city that remembers everything.Don't play by the rules. Rewrite them.⚡ THE BATTLEFIELD IS A SYSTEM
Every operation is more than a firefight. It is a system you can break before the first shot is fired.- Engineering Advantage: Cut power, overload transformers, use cameras, drones, doors, traps, and weak points in the environment.
- Chain Reactions: One explosion can shift enemy positions, open a route, destroy cover, or break the enemy plan.
- Preparation Matters: The right gear, position, and timing can matter more than raw firepower.
🔫 EVERY SHOT HAS CONSEQUENCES
A miss in Humanity Echo does not simply disappear. The bullet keeps moving - into cover, equipment, enemies, or allies. Think about the trajectory, not just the hit chance.- Stray Bullets: A missed shot can become an unexpected advantage or a costly mistake.
- Action Badges: Bold tactical moves trigger instant bonuses through the Neural Flow system.
- Ammo Economy: Standard rounds are available, but special ammunition should be saved for decisive breakthroughs.
🧬 DESIGN YOUR FIGHTER AROUND YOUR PLAN
No rigid class lock. Your operative is a system of stats, weapons, armor, gadgets, skills, and pre-mission decisions.- Loadout Prep: Choose weapons, armor, grenades, medkits, and tactical tools for each specific mission.
- Squad Synergy: Combine different roles to cover each other's weaknesses and create stronger tactical options.
- Learn by Doing: Skills grow through use, not abstract XP bars. Hack terminals under pressure, survive firefights, and improve through action.
🖥️ LIVING TERMINAL AND INTERACTIVE WORLD
The story does not live outside the interface. Your terminal is a workstation, map, journal, communication channel, gear screen, and decision center all at once.- Living Terminal: Messages, calls, objectives, field photos, and system events all pass through your screen.
- Interactive Locations: Inspect objects, uncover hidden world details, and find small stories embedded in the environment.
- The City Reacts: Loud operations raise district pressure, change routes, prices, contacts, and faction attitudes.
