About Hyperspace Deck Command

Take command of an advanced space force!
  • Deploy your ships across an entire star-system with multiple orbital lanes.
  • Support your units with hundreds of different tech cards, ranging from strike fighters and shield projectors all the way to physics-breaking doomsday devices.
  • Intercepts waves of advancing enemies to protect your fleet-sustaining megaship.
  • Carefully consider your actions: Units operate on individual turn timers and every card you play brings them closer to carrying out their next action.
  • Face the Gold Plague and the many fleets it has turned against you. This enigmatic invader has already consumed its origin galaxy. It always wants more.
Enhance your tactics with dual-use status effects!
Cards in Hyperspace Deck Command give you an extra bit of tactical flexibility. Their status effects work differently depending on if you play them at allies or enemies. Do you want to shield your ship, or contain and prevent attacks from a specific enemy? Do you use fuel to accelerate a friendly or to set an opponent on fire? Should your carriers deploy fighters to strafe targets, or send them to guard your own vessels?
Build highly customizable decks!
  • Combine 60 megaships, deck commanders, randomly generated flagships and auxiliary vessels from 5 different factions into thousands of possible starting decks.
  • Explore star systems to extend your deck with 400+ different ship and technology cards.
  • Modify individual cards with stackable upgrades or augment your entire space force with powerful fleet upgrades.
  • Fight your way through 25+ enemy encounters, each lead by fierce boss ships.
  • Unlock faction specific combo cards, secondary commanders and late game challenge modes.
  • Discover the lore of the intergalactic crisis through scattered data entries on cards.

When you finish unlocking end-tech, you are reminded that all you finished was the tutorial. The standard rogue progression difficulty has been unlocked and awaits your regrets. Your struggle to get to that point? Apparently just training wheels. *joy* Update: Final boss first attempt - Megaship is one shot (4 hp) away from death from start to finish, but did manage to end it 1 turn away from solar orbit! *cold sweat*

Don't let the garish visuals fool you - this game slaps. The gameplay is similar to Wildfrost and the style reminds me of The Culture books. Would recommend.

Oh boy, the graphics might turn you off but this is a solid card based tactics game, lots of options to dig into, interesting combat. It does expect you to learn as you go, the first few runs will probably be harsh and end early, but it's worth digging deeper.
