Luckily, I never forget my Steam Review Note Taker… Aug 19 2025 Today I have finished participating in what I can only surmise as a 2016 Unity Spanish Student MK Ultra Masters experiment. Coming out worst for wear on the other end, but still thankful having made it. Knowing all too well that others are still wandering the corridors shouting expletives to super hearing zombie children and Ian who may have walked into walls once too often producing some type of mental numbing effect on himself. There are 3 commonly voiced opinions about the game made by others. First, is that the game contains really cheesy voice acting. I actually don’t agree with this. I cut them some slack here, as they are all Spanish and English is not their native language, so I could hardly see how monitoring the English translation would be an easy task for them. True, Ian who is supposedly an 8-year-old boy, doesn’t sound 8 years old, but more like a miniature adult, but Hollywood does this all the time, getting adults to pose as teenagers. (Scream etc.) The worst voice acting would have to be Principal Bates, but yet again it’s only in two sections where it’s blatantly obvious that there is a mistransla…

Управляя Марией, слепой девочкой, вы полагаетесь на помощь Яна, огромного монстра, ставшего вашим неожиданным союзником. Геймплей построен на звуках: вы "видите" мир глазами Яна, ориентируясь на его рык и шаги, чтобы избегать патрулей злобных монахинь. Атмосфера пропитана безысходностью и напряжением. Невозможность видеть мир самостоятельно заставляет вас полностью доверять Яну, что порождает интересную динамику между беспомощностью и надеждой. Графика, хотя и стилизованная, отлично передает мрачность приюта, где происходит действие. Плюсы игры: оригинальная механика, жуткая атмосфера, интересный сюжет. Из минусов можно отметить некоторую однообразность локаций и сложность в освоении управления на начальных этапах. Тем не менее, 'Ian's Eyes' – это запоминающийся опыт, предлагающий взглянуть на хоррор под совершенно новым углом. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет необычные и атмосферные игры.

The only good thing about this game is the art style and the concept, everything else is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The gameplay is incredibly frustrating, with terrible level design, camera angles that are so bad that will get you killed in stupid ways, and awful default controls for keyboard. It feels like an unpolished mess, if the devs put more effort into making the gameplay good, this game would be way better, and probably enjoyable. In other regards, the voice acting is awful, I've seen way better VA in other amateur media. The principal's voice is the worst by far, he almost sounds like an text-to-speech app, no soul put into his work. Also, Ian sounds like a grown ass man, and has the opposite problem, he talks like one of those pre-school tv shows, talking really loud so you can understand when he is happy, scared, etc. I refuse to believe someone thought this was a good voice acting job, they probably just said "Huh, good enough I guess". The writing is also laughable, it has so much over exposition, making sure the player is aware of what's happening at every moment, treating him like a moron who can't deduct stuff by themselves, with dialogue in the lines of "I get so scared when my …

this game made me want to kill myself and to kill ian and the dog alongside me. mr bates had the right idea to leave that dumbass kid behind in the school and kill him, i would've killed him even if he didnt know anything that was going on. i hate this game i hate the "puzzles" i hate the ai i hate you mr ians eyes. i hate THIS GAME
