About Imagine Lifetimes

This is a satirical point-and-click "simulation" game about the meaning of life. Born with the ability to "choose", your decisions shape the paths ahead of you. Face the inevitable through a series of "life-changing" predicaments as you make your way towards the end...

FEATURES
  • Explore a variety of meaningless choices, paths and (20+) increasingly morbid endings
  • Choose wisely, every choice has the potential to affect (end) your lifetime
  • Question the absurdity of existence as you figure out what it means to be alive...

WARNING: May contain traces of irony, nihilism and dark humor
NOTE: This is a short (0.5-3 hour) game created by a solo developer

It would be nice for there to be a pause option in the game but at least each run is short.

Everything humorous aside I think imagine lifetimes is sort of this game that tries to emulate this lightning in a bottle effect that comes with multi-path games like this, and just falls a little short on the fact that it's a bit too much the nose with this sort of... philosophical humor, and I feel the game cannot subtly describe it's themes. Now, regardless of that, Imagine Lifetimes is a game I think that is charming on the first few times you play it, it does have some clever humor that will definitely tickle you. But it is not a game I feel like is something to be 100%'d. Because it's a game that feels like the game artificially makes itself long, and thus feels tedious to complete considering you have to complete it, but it feels just short enough that completing an ending doesn't feel satisfying, or that it's short enough that the game simply does not give enough to chew on. Overt negative parts aside, there is definitely scenes in this game that I would recommend playing for yourself, as it is definitely a game that feels like it hit the mark on how you can naturally discover most of it's endings, a game that truly thought of "what if I did this" and you get your ans…
