very nicely designed game with great mechanics, played it mostly on my switch before getting it on pc. the gameplay is a little bit repetitive but can still be diversified with the different gods, although finishing the skill tree makes you kinda unbeatable

Dead simple and dead fast to reload even with little to no vram in internal graphics card. Solid First Person Platforming and an interesting puzzle of a skill tree that is more fun to figure out b/c you're not wasting time loading.

I have tried this game several times and more recently managed to get a lot further, getting to the second boss a few times, and whilst I can see the signs of something good...the sheer number of problems is overwhelming. For starters, the cursed scrolls are horribly executed. Every time you collect a scroll there's a chance of getting a curse instead. Normally the risk of getting a curse is something that is either telegraphed to the player, or explicitly described as a caveat to a bonus, but here it's a roll every single time. And the curses basically can hamper every possible mechanic you can imagine, including jumping...something you NEED to do to progress. Sometimes it will randomly take your weapons away and completely ruin your build which discourages the player from trying to grow stronger during a run. What boggles my mind is the previous game Ziggurat seemed to understand these systems a lot better to NOT make these kinds of mistakes. It also doesn't help that initially you will start out really weak, weaker yet if you don't have a class. Many of the weapons are awful to use. Love it. but, i hate that the progress become slow because you need to paid your remaining gold after each upgrade to enter the dungeon. upgrading gold gain on skill tree does nothing but hinder your progress also. will be great if dev add better gold gain skill tree or remove the first problem i wrote earlier.
