Infinity Castle Dungeon is a dungeon crawling roguelike and though it has some good to it I really can’t say that I can recommend it. The critical issue this game has is that it just feels clunky to play. I disliked how slow the weapons wind up felt, how annoying it was to work with weapon ranges, how when ending movement you slide a bit with your momentum, and the fact that fighting more than 2 enemies increased your chance of death significantly which was just a pain to deal with. Let me put a couple of these things together to show how this all adds up. You have a room with 3 enemies and you need to fight them to get to one of the chests in the back with the floor key you go into the room and go forward to fight them. They ball up super close together and are constantly switching the hand that their weapons are in (as they always do if you are not quite in range). You go in to stab and because you have a slight slide and have to time your wind-up right you move in and miss, but at least they hit each other (a saving grace really). You go in again and though you get a hit with both of your weapons you are too close because of the slight slide and the fact that all of the enemies…3 found this helpful
After hour of playing, i can say that this game has hi-dynamic fights, interesting secret rooms, complex traps and enough variations of enemies and weapons. I really enjoyed that hour i spend for playing) Lately will try to pass 3 lvl. In the end i want to say that the game is complicated, so if you like this type of games - playing it will give to u a lot of emotions and pleasure) GL ALL3 found this helpful
Infinity Castle Dungeon offers a captivating and distinctive roguelike experience. The procedurally generated infinite castle guarantees that each run is unique, keeping every session fresh and exhilarating. The hardcore, one-life system raises the stakes, ensuring that every move and battle is significant. What truly sets the game apart is its ability to immerse players in a brutal yet rewarding world. The procedurally generated levels not only add variety but also keep you constantly adapting and thinking on your feet with each new area you encounter. If you’re seeking a game that pushes you to your limits while offering endless adventures, Infinity Castle Dungeon delivers in abundance.3 found this helpful
This game is really fun and has a fun gameplay loop. Also the developer is very responsive and always looking to improve the game. Overall great game and I look forward to the future of this game.1 found this helpful
The game looks really cool but I cannot managed to play it because the game is too laggy, that's a shame :/ Three other points : - The health points lost during the tutorial are retained in each run, which seems not intended. - Controllers aren't working at all - The english & french translation looks broken on the Settings screen.
Solid game plan. Not seeing the roguelike aspect and combat is extremely difficult to start. i've adopted the "throw weapons while running" plan with limited success. it seems like it autosaves at floor completion and its infuriating to die on the last room and start from scratch. As it stands unless i get much better at the game i'll never progress to anything like the images in the teaser. I'd kill for a bow and its painful seeing powerups that tease the larger game lost due to a death prior to floor clear.
