Investigator

I could barely get through one level, let alone play any longer. The game kept bugging out for me even on Low PC Mode, which made it incredibly frustrating to play. Not having any sound adjustment options in the menu is also awful. Overall, this game could have been so much better. I was really looking forward to playing it, but unfortunately, it ended up being a huge disappointment.

I was quite surprised at how well this was made! The graphics, world design, sound, ambiance, and atmosphere are all very well done. The gameplay is pretty simple and straight forward. The story is a little confusing and not explained as well as it could have been. I would have loved for there to have been lore in the world to flesh out the story more. I did enjoy the story. It keeps you wanting to see what happens next. Plenty of twists and turns. There is a fair amount to explore in the world but not a whole lot to interact with outside the story. I enjoyed this game more than I have several that I paid for lately. Considering this game is free it is pretty amazing.

I actually really enjoyed this game. The atmosphere, exploration, and overall mystery kept me interested, and I had a genuinely good time playing through it. My only real complaint is the ending. After everything that happens, it felt a little confusing and left me wondering what exactly was supposed to happen. Maybe that's intentional, but I personally would have liked a bit more explanation or closure. Overall, though, I had fun with it and I'm glad I played it. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy weird indie horror/mystery games.

Pretty good, especially for a lone dev's first project!

Investigator is a first-person horror adventure game that puts you in the role of a detective trying to uncover what happened after a mysterious disaster. The game focuses on exploration, searching through abandoned locations, solving small puzzles, and slowly discovering the story behind the strange events. The strongest part of Investigator is the atmosphere. The game creates a lonely and unsettling feeling as you explore empty buildings and areas filled with clues. The environments do a good job of making you feel like something went wrong, and the mystery behind the world is enough to keep you moving forward. The exploration is simple but works well for the type of game it is. You search rooms, find objects, read notes, and piece together what happened. It is not a fast-paced horror game with constant action, but more of a slow investigation where the main focus is discovering the story. The idea behind the game is interesting. this game is buggy trash -cutscene are not playing, straight launching me into game -buggy interaction with objects and atmosphere, interaction button completely missing -no rebindable keys -no graphics customization except resolution couple more tweaks. this game is complete technical mess
