Stories Untold is a genre-defying anthology of four short interactive stories that blend text adventures, point-and-click exploration, and experimental gameplay with 80s retro aesthetics and psychological horror. Each tale features unique mechanics—from text adventures to radio transmissions to bizarre artifact experiments—building toward a mysterious, nightmarish narrative that's been hailed as one of the year's most fascinating interactive experiences.

“Stories Untold” is a narrative-driven experimental adventure game, that bends the genre into something completely unique. Combining a mix of classic text-adventure, point-and-click and more, 4 short stories are packaged together into a single mysterious anthology that has been described as “a fantastic, fascinating example of interactive visual storytelling” (Telegraph 5/5) and earning widespread critical acclaim since release.
The game pulls together 80s retro nostalgia, innovative and experimental genre-defying gameplay, and tense, phycological horror to create “one of the most fascinating and unique tales you can play this year” (GameSpew 9/10).
The first Episode “The House Abandon” is now available for free via a demo, to give you a glimpse of what is in store in the full game.
“Stories Untold” was developed by No Code, a Glasgow based ex-AAA development team headed up by Jon McKellan (Alien: Isolation) and Omar Khan.

absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. text parser is completely worthless, writing is poor at best, visuals are painful to the eyes, and actually getting anything to behave how it's supposed to it quite challenging. a game that dares to ask: "what if we made everything bad, on purpose."2 found this helpful
Very cool, creepy, short retro-interactive stories here. Each episode is the perfect length, and complements Observation nicely if you've had a chance to play through that game first; although not mandatory. 4/5 tapes.1 found this helpful
AMAZING
Tense, well-written, and unnerving: for its short playtime, the unasuming "Stories Untold" packs quite the punch - featuring a power house of storytelling that (although probably unpopular to some) is well-designed, effective, and showcase of alternative game-making, that is always welcome in this medium.
Very cool game. You do a lot of typing and figuring out codes and reading through files to get these codes etc. Divided into chapters that increase in difficulty but also in coolness of the story behind it. Great athmosphere and great storytelling. Bought this for 2 bucks when on sale.
Unironically one of the best little horror games I've ever played. The game is not hard or complicated, but it will demand your attention. Especially if you want to get the full experience. I'd argue that, to get the full experience, you should sit down and play it with a warm drink and your detective hat on.
