John The Retriever

In this 3D sandbox-style experience which draws from elements of visual novels, every choice has consequences. Embark on a reality-shattering journey where nothing behaves the way it should - and that’s exactly the point.Immerse yourself in a vibrant, genre-blending narrative as you, John The Retriever, chase after your missing human best friend across time and space. Every step draws you into a unique world with its own distinct rules, styles, and logic - none of which remain consistent or linear for long. All through the eyes of mankind’s greatest companion.Explore shifting landscapes: complete Quests that take you through surreal journeys - a 3D dream realm that shifts into a retro arcade game, a cheerful city that gradually reveals a café operated by an alien, or a cosmic sanctuary suspended in time for all the beloved dogs past. As the environment changes, so do your goals, challenges, and sometimes even the mechanics of the game itself.Forge unexpected connections with a cast of bizarre, endearing characters: each of whom bends or completely disregards the norms of their worlds. You can charm them, challenge them, find creative solutions, or even break the rules so thoroughly that the rules themselves concede.Engage in clever reasoning, playful experimentation, and clever tricks to overcome puzzles that are aware of your attempts to solve them. Take advantage of plot gaps, twist genre clichés, and occasionally persuade the universe to alter itself just a tiny bit in your favour.Influence the world: every interaction, every choice, every path you wander influences how your story will end.Earn rewards: the more Quests you complete, the more rewards you earn. Spend in-game currency to unlock unique cosmetics and show off your personality by customising your character.Find hidden levels: explore every nook and cranny to find hidden objects, characters, and the occasional hidden level!Amid the chaos, unravel a genuine, heart-tugging story about friendship - about what it means to lose someone who shaped your world, and the lengths you’ll go to piece that world back together. It’s equal parts heartfelt, hilarious, and delightfully unhinged.Reality is optional. Friendship isn’t.Play time 20-30 minutes
