KARMA: The Dark World is a pretty weird game, especially when it comes to the story and how it mixes memories. Sometimes it's hard to understand what's going on. It's not a game for everyone, but if you like strange psychological games with a strong atmosphere and great visuals, it's worth trying.7 found this helpful
It is very very short. Begining was strong. Atmosphere was gread at the begining. But from part 2 it became lame. Ending was bad. I'm not happy about the story. Voices are terrible - while subjects were speaking I was imagining how actors are recording the sound. It sould not be like this. All in all it is average game. You can try it, but do not expect anything good - just average game.1 found this helpful
This game screams strand fan and vomits an unnecessary long, not deserved emotional ride at the end that feels like a deus ex with a certain character the exhibiting abilities far beyond anything perceived as possible in the story making the entire plot useless to the overall narrative. the game is mostly tell and not show with important narrative only being delivered in cutscenes as it was completely disconnected from gameplay. At then end of the game you learn everything was just to get you to go somewhere on your time off, then dumping 20 minutes of cutscenes to create an unpredictable ending. If they want to be M night Shyamalan, they could just reference the 2010 avatar movie rather than trying to coast of better written media like twin peaks1 found this helpful
An amazing, tragic, and mind-bending story.1 found this helpful
beautiful game sobbed my eyes out
I'm sad this doesn't have a ton of reviews! It really deserves more attention! Not a long game, but the details were amazing! Very much worth your time if you like trippy horror games.
