It’s the early 2000’s, and you’ve just bought your first car.
A long, slow summer lies ahead. Hearing about a festival on the other side of the country, you fire up your engine, plot a course on your map, and hit the road. How, if you get there at all, is up to you.Procedurally generated pixel art open world
Keep Driving is a management RPG about slowly making your way through a procedurally generated pixel art open world. Pick up hitchhikers with their own personalities and stories; upgrade, customize and repair your car. Solve challenges on the road using a unique turn-based ‘combat’ system, using your own skills and whatever’s lying around in the glovebox to make it through.
At the end of your road trip, return back to the beginning and see what happens if you had followed a different path. There are multiple endings, with each taking about 1-4 hours to complete. Immerse yourself in the land through its highways, dirt tracks, and calm country roads. And remember to enjoy the ride. You're young and don't have much to lose.

About the Developer
Y/CJ/Y is an indie game studio based in Gothenburg, Sweden, consisting of Josef Martinovsky and Christopher Andreasson. Previous projects include The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human, Sea Salt and POST VOID.

I only got around 14 hours out of this title, prolly could get more if going for 100% achieves but i see no need after playing with all three vehicles (my biggest draw) and getting most of the endings. I did enjoy what time I did spend with Keep Driving quite a bit as what you see is what you get, a driving management sim with a bit of soul. My only real gripe is a lack of vehicles and parts/configurations such as: -A couple more vehicles like an old Motorcycle for a harder loner mode, -An old VW hippie Van as a sort of super easy fun mode packed with hitch hikers chatting These would be nice additions to pull back older players, if you Devs read this. I Just felt like it was a little missing something. Still worth a play, but pick it up on sale.1 found this helpful
In one run, I got hooked on coke, ditched a little girl on the side of the freeway, talked to grandma at the hospital, learned about a rehab center, and left to check myself in. 10/10 this feels exactly like 2005.

love this game
I love road trips, and recently have taken a few long ones after many years of being with a...stagnant partner. This game seemed awesome! But... maybe it's because I got my first car slightly before the early 2000s, I can't figure out this games' controls. Like, seriously?? I tried playing both with a controller as well as keyboard and mouse, and it was just so frustrating trying to follow along with the tutorial when I'm doing what it says and it simply isn't working. I don't know why, and I want to support small games like this, but... I just can't figure out this game's controls?
