KEM Alpha 1

My gambling addict friend said if I post a review on KEM Alpha 1 and it gets 350 likes and 150 Awards that he will buy me a case of beer and some vodka, So I'm just gonna leave this here

"KEM Alpha 1" is a badly made (probably asset flipped) first person adventure horror puzzle game... yeah, there's literally thousands of these on Steam, yet somehow they managed to make this one of the worst ones. Go to a spooky house and do some basic canned first person puzzles, find keys... all done slightly worse than everyone else who made this exact kind of game. The game here, such as it is, is of a pretty low technical standard. The implementation is basic and comes across as threadbare, more like a 'weekend project' rather than a commercial release. An experimental piece... and the experiment is "can I spend $100 on Steam Direct and then call myself a game dev?" While that $100 spend on Steam Direct probably made the developers feel good about themselves, we have to ask why this kind of thing is good for gamers. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game asse…

Bare bones, unfinished, unpolished, unintuitive, and lacking very basic functionality. Also, spoiler warning, there is no ending. The game just goes on for a while until it stops with a rather annoying trap surprise. Perfect for masochists and game reviewers.

So I made it to the upper floor of the house, found a cabinet key, but no locked cabinet, and no other options of what to do. Picture with the red arrow made no sense. Unable to continue. Rating: 0/10
