Koi Unleashed

The game really looks good and is atmospheric. I thought the game to be more classic ARPG, instead you have a party based rpg with controls i don't like. I asked for a refund coz I'm sure I won't touch this game anymore. This being said I can imagine people really loving this game. It's not bad or anything just not my cup of tea.

Game Review: Koi Unleashed is an Action RPG. It looks nice, is Challenging and fun. Its Got a Good Soundtrack, The Landscapes are pretty, and the boss battles were good. Make sure to take advantage of your Runes & Crystals when it gets hard. Game really requires you to switch back and forth alot to take advantage of everyone's powers. + Good Music + Controller Support (tho it recognized my Xbox one controller as a PS4 controller but was able to change this in the pause menu) + Multiple Fighting Classes, Adds a lot of replayability to this + Can Change your army, this was pretty cool. +Very Beautiful art +Nice Story +Challenging -Game is kinda hard, But if you like a real challenge this is a plus

Koi Unleashed was a really great game, the illustration art is awesome. The music really envelops you in the atmosphere of an ancient Japan and during Boss fights it feels quite epic. It's a solid game that revolves around the combat with big enemy Bosses. While the game is simple and fun to play there is also an increased difficulty in controlling your party with commands at the same time as you have to avoid all the different enemies attacks and when you have to avoid boss mechanics. The controls are great and I love that I can drop my controller and just go play on my laptop if I feel like it. As for cons I would say the story is a bit short for an RPG but interesting nonetheless. I highly recommend this game if you enjoy complex Boss fights that require strategy.

It looked cool so I gave it a shot. I am sad to say I did not enjoy it. - UI polish was definitely needed. Changing to, say, mouse + keyboard controls (my preferred style for any game) didn't allow mouse control in options. Typos and poor grammar (bad localization?) abounded. So on and so forth. - A pet peeve of mine is when talent points and the like are vague and don't actually tell you what you're doing. When a talent says it gives you "more damage and energy" and then the next one says "even more damage and energy" you are choosing between a blind pick and alt tabbing to look it up. - The BIG DEAL, the actual game breaker, the reason I'm really hitting no on the recommend option: the gameplay just doesn't work. You're one character in an ARPG but you have 3 AI bots that seem pretty important to use. Initial attack wind up time takes too long to do the normal 'kiting' you would in other ARPGs. Thus, when your bots that you can only give 3 commands to (and none individually) do something stupid like running into the nasty AOE, they die and that's that. I can tell them to clear commands (they just run towards me blindly), I can tell them to target my target, I can tell them to …
