Oh goodness talk about finding a diamond in the rough! This game is criminally under-rated! Lab Chaos has a really interesting premise: a platformer where you can't jump. Instead Fleck can transform into a metal block that magnetizes to certain objects, and can use momentum from level obstacles to get around. It's a pretty unique way of controlling a character, and I think it stands out nicely among other indie platform games. But having such a simple control scheme makes the game sound easy right? Pfffft. You wish. While the game starts pretty easy, it can get deceptively challenging, especially if you try to get all of the gold medals and master every level. That's where your skill will be truly tested! Fleck carries a lot of momentum when he moves, and you've gotta find clever uses for that in the physics engine to get the fastest times. It can get really challenging to clear some obstacles as a result, especially in later levels when the challenge really ramps up. I'm not entirely sure how to put the game's atmosphere into words, it's just really nice and chill (despite the game being tough), and the soundtrack helps sell the mood, I like it a lot! Also, Fleck himself is cu…3 found this helpful

It is a cute game. The art is amazing. Fleck is an interesting character. I like how you control his movement and that he can stick to the walls. It progressively gets more intriguing as you go from level to level. You never get bored.3 found this helpful

Lab Chaos is a gem in the platformer genre that offers a delightful mix of challenge and charm. Playing as a green slime blob, you embark on an adventure through a series of cleverly designed levels that never fail to surprise and entertain. The game’s mechanics are wonderfully intuitive, making it easy for players to jump right in and start exploring. The controls are simple, just left, right, and power button (space in my case) for jumping etc, and they make navigating through the various obstacles a joy rather than a chore. One of the standout features of Lab Chaos is its creative use of environmental effects. From magnets that pull you in unexpected directions to sticky floors that change the way you approach each jump, the game consistently introduces new elements that keep the experience fresh and engaging. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, another clever twist is thrown your way, ensuring that the gameplay never becomes repetitive. The game is offering enough challenge to keep you on your toes without ever feeling unfair. Each level feels like a new puzzle to solve, and the sense of accomplishment after clearing a particularly tricky section is satisfying. …1 found this helpful
