About LIFE EFFECT Survival
- History:
Alien invaders invaded the planet, exterminating most of the population, humanity, being on the verge of annihilation, united its armies and gave a serious rebuff to the enemy, bringing down all its might on him. After several years of war, the climate on the planet has changed significantly, the virus and alien particles have greatly mutated animals and humans. The military created fortifications for protection, and extraterrestrial technologies were mined, which helped create medicines and weapons, vehicles and robots. The war continues, some fortifications are fighting with each other, advancing their goals and ideas, trying to get alien artifacts with which they can move to the next stage of evolution and gain complete superiority.
The player's task is to survive in this world by helping peaceful fortifications. Collect resources and create the best weapons and equipment, fight off enemy forces and prevent the invasion of monsters from other planets.
- In the game you will find:

- DNA, eggs, cubs, animals, people:
✦ Grow, tame, hire — assemble a squad to suit your style of play.
✦ Find, grow, create — find eggs, steal a baby, or extract the DNA of a monster and create a unique companion.
✦ Genetic Laboratory — use DNA samples to create new species and hybrids.
✦ Taming animals — find and tame wild or peaceful animals, they will become faithful helpers on the journey.
✦ Mercenaries — hire people who will fight on your side if you trust them with your back.
✦ Pets that grow up with you — your companions level up, learn new abilities and help in battle.
- Capture → development → defense. Your fortress is underground.
✦ Capture the bunker — recapture the underground shelter from the monsters and make it your base.
✦ Development and Improvement — Build crafting machines, a laboratory, an incubator, and other modules for storing resources, companions, and transportation.
✦ Defense — build turrets, fortify entrances, strengthen walls and personally repel hordes of enemies.
✦ Automatic resource collection — send mercenaries and pets in search of loot.
Develop the shelter: Strengthen the defenses to repel the attacks of the creatures. And when you are not there, send mercenaries and pets to collect resources. The bunker lives on, even when you're in combat.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️1. ⏳ If you have a black screen when starting the game, just wait a few minutes, the game will load 100% into RAM. I'm working on speeding up the launch of a client.
2. 🎮 There is currently no gamepad support in the game.
3. ⚙️ There is no key rebinding.
4. 📝 The game does not have cloud saves. It creates a save folder on your PC.
📢 Therefore, if these features are very important to you, please take this into consideration and do not purchase the game! At the moment, I cannot provide a timeline for when these features will be implemented.

It is a single-player shooter with lots of crafting and survival thrown in. The player is dropped on an island full of monsters, some soldiers, and some aliens. Your job is to carry out missions, gain XP, get better gear and explore the big island. The game is a work in progress. Some localization elements could do with more polish. The NPCs speak only Russian but the texts are in English if you want it. On the technical side, this is an Unreal Engine game and there is only one developer, who has been working on it for four years. The developer regularly communicates and works on the project. My FPS at 4k resolution is acceptable. The initial loading process takes a long time and needs optimization. The movement of monsters needs sound effects. UPDATE: After playing for about 19 hours I can say that the game lacks balance. The player is too weak and the monsters are too tough quite often. The big ones are bullet sponges. The island is big and there is too much walking. UPDATE2: The game feels kind of punishing for the player. I think it is designed to be that way. Too many things are in development.
