About Lila's Tale and the Hidden Forest
Lila’s Tale and the Hidden Forest adds a new story chapter for Lila, from the same developers of the award-winning game, Lila’s Tale. In this adventure, Lila will discover the secrets of the Hidden Forest of Solaria, its woods, desert and frozen mountains.
In this classical inspired 2D game, the players will cross challenging sceneries with magical themes, join forces with the forest animal and defeat the enemies that are ruining the forest. Lila and Flee are quite the duo and their friendship power is shown by cooperating to use magical power and gliding together!
In the full game version, there will be a two-players gameplay, where Lucas, Lila’s brother, will be a playable character and help save the forest. And more, Lila and Flee are having different clothes for each scenario!

Lila's Tale is a short and sweet game which you could probably complete in a single setting if you're determined enough. The game lacks some common platforming QoL mechanics such as coyote timing and jump buffering, which made it feel a bit sloppier than it could've been. But it makes up for this by having an adorable art style and neat little cutscenes! It also has a bunch of collectibles which made exploring the levels more fun. All in all it's well worth it's price I'd say c:2 found this helpful

2 QOL things I'd like to see would be a menu showing all your collectables from all the levels and in the hub having an indicator showing the eggs collected in that level. Makes remembering where you forgot a collectable impossible unless you remember. When you reenter a level everything is uncollected again so you cant even tell that way. Another thing is the game doesn't seem to explain that you can jump down through platforms by pressing down and crouch or jump, atleast 2 eggs require that. Was frustrating repeating one level like 3-4 times just trying to find the thing i missed when all along it was where i thought it was but i had to jump through a platform. The game is quite fun especially for the price, but it could still use a little improvement.1 found this helpful

What a cute little game The graphics and animations are really well done and the physics and controls feel just fine The only downside i can found is that is really short (its supossed to be a little kids game) so, you can beat it in around one hour maybe less
