About Liquid Light
A relaxing 1bit puzzle game set in a world where all the light is liquid. There are all sorts of creatures in the darkness, waiting for the light to bring them form, but no need to worry, they are quite tame.
This puzzle game revolves around utilizing the liquid light and liquid dark to gain the curiosity and cooperation of the other creatures in the world. The Lightposts and Darkposts will be tools for your success, but with the help of the other creatures in the world, can you progress. While sometimes the creatures are covered in darkness and lack physical form, that can sometimes be advantageous as they no longer block the way. Sometimes though, you need a creature who's body is covered in light that allows it to take a physical form and help you cross gaps that would otherwise spell your doom.
This is a puzzle game inspired by the classic game Lode Runner, but capitalizing on the puzzle aspect and downplaying the franticness of the game. The Creatures in the world also feature incredibly simple AI so they always do exactly what you intend for them to do.
This game also features a level select which is accessible through the pause menu just in case you get hung up on one particular puzzle.
Complete with 8-bit sound effects and peculiar creatures, this game is certain to tickle your brain!

This is a very nice puzzle game. I know it's just basically a demo, but the concepts behind the creatures and the way the liquid light interacts with the world is very solid. I loved the whole opposites attract motif that you used, and the animations for the plant creatures were really nice. Would love to see a full version of this. Well done. :D PS. Spoilers... Is there any way to beat the last two levels without letting one of the creatures get eaten? It doesn't seem like there is but, that would be an interesting question to toy with if you plan on developing this game further.1 found this helpful

This is a fun little puzzle game that is perfect if you have an OLED screen. It makes it look so good despite how simple it is. I also found the sound design to be interesting with the SFX, and the raining light sounds make it feel relaxing with the black backdrop. The game is short, took about 25 mins for me to complete, and at the grand old price of FREE it is very generous. Definitely worth your time.
Great example of building off of simple mechanics the make complex puzzles. The difficulty was perfect. Hard enough to be challenging, but not frustrating. Plus, the music gives Luigi's Mansion vibes (which I love).
Tricky and short, I had fun playing. Well worth your time.
