About Litil Divil
Welcome to the Underworld, where you guide Mutt, the bad luck Litil Divil, through the Labyrinth of Chaos to retrieve the Mystical Pizza of Plenty. Our “hero” takes a fateful step through the Mortal Portal to prowl five hellish levels of treacherous tunnels with more than 50 raucous rooms of gameplay. Beware of killer spiders, bottomless swamps, ferocious furnaces... and crazed bartenders. And watch out! If you can't get Mutt to the Overlord, The Entity and The Servant will drag him to the Torture Room for a little fiendish fun.

It looks nice, but it is not. It is a maze game where you find challenge rooms, but you need to read a guide on what you should do, how, and what the controls are. So no, it is not recommended. Watch a YT video before buy.1 found this helpful
A weird little relic. You play a clumsy devil crawling through mazes and minigames that make almost no sense until you just accept the chaos. Controls feel like they were designed for a joystick from another decade, because they were, and the humor is dumb in the best way. It's clunky, it's ugly in places, and it's absolutely charming. Not for everyone, but if you grew up on this kind of nonsense you'll grin the whole way through.
Beautiful game, especially for its era. So Litil Divil is a mix of 3rd person maze navigation and challenge rooms. Maze navigation is fairly standard stuff, though it can be a little mean at times as most of the mazes require you collect nearly all of the treasures to reach the end. Also some of the obstacles I think rely on chance for you to proceed without taking a hit, a very player unfriendly approach to level design. Still the design is logical and easy enough to navigate and understand, so it would take some real bad luck to not be able to progress simply due to the RNG. The challenge rooms cover a wide mix of genres, often with their own unique controls. Rooms range from puzzles, platforming, battle, navigation, bull riding, and simple key item checks. That said, the quality of these rooms can vary greatly. Many of them are creative, but the low framerate and unclear controls/rules often make them frustrating. A few of them are also so janky it's a test of will to even want to clear them. Also note that save rooms are limited. You get one per maze and it often requires a lot of navigation to reach them. You do also get a checkpoint when you clear each world which can make…
Outside of trying to revisit a game you kind of remember, I certainly do not recommend this. It's a frustrating game. The art design is nice though.
https://youtu.be/plItNCe3ewU Obviously a product of it's time, players are at the whim of heavy trial and error to learn what the game wants before even beginning to tackle how to do it.
If you like those type of game then its great, It's just not for me nowadays. Probably i would beat that in the past but now i dont have the time and patience for that.
