About Little Inferno
Throw bizarre objects into your fireplace and watch them burn in creative, physics-based ways while uncovering a mysterious story about the world beyond your walls. This indie gem from the creators of World of Goo combines oddball puzzle-solving with quirky charm, all contained in one delightfully strange fireplace adventure.
Congratulations on your new Little Inferno Entertainment Fireplace! Throw your toys into your fire, and play with them as they burn. Stay warm in there. It's getting cold outside!
Burn flaming logs, screaming robots, credit cards, batteries, exploding fish, unstable nuclear devices, and tiny galaxies. An adventure that takes place almost entirely in front of a fireplace - about looking up up up out of the chimney, and the cold world just on the other side of the wall.

- 100% indie - made by 3 guys, no office, no publishers, no funding

Played this game when I was very young and stupid in 2012. Replaying it now in 2026 I realize what an interesting message this little game has that is even more accurate in today's age. Highly recommend.
Since childhood i've loved this game. Years later, I'm glad I can still enjoy the bittersweetness the younger me felt back then seeing such a simple, yet impactful game. It'll teach you to always value not just your time, but the time you have with others.

Little Inferno is a good, solid but fairly rudimentary item-merger/sandbox game. I had fun. Personally I dont think it's the profound and revolutionary masterpiece many make it out to be.
Unrelated: I have played more than four hours and finished the game. Steam think's I've played for roughly 10 minutes though, not sure why.
Really cool quicker game, good for a one day game or weekend game if you wanna feel like you completed something
