Escape room game, strategy, puzzles, pastime, adventure, cooperative play. Short escape, playable in co-op with up to 4 players, but also possible in single player. We are in a completely deserted ancient convent; we must escape, but the exit is blocked. This building hides secrets; we must search for clues and solve puzzles to find 3 relics: 1 = Horn of the Fallen, 2 = The Scepter of Radiance, 3 = The Abbot's Ring After passing ritual, light, and musical tests, we can place the relics on the altar and the exit will open. In the underground prison there is a hidden room, a sealed passage that opens by following the clues hidden in the various cells. The graphics are beautiful and realistic; the convent is majestic and mysterious, rich in detail and accompanied by moving and evocative music. Some of the puzzles are logical, while others are a bit more difficult, but there is a help system with illustrations. The gameplay left me a bit perplexed; some things could be improved: 1= There's no inventory; you can only carry one item at a time; if you pick up another, it falls to the ground and you don't notice. It's very inconvenient, forcing you to travel back and forth a lot. 2= …15 found this helpful
Quite decent I would say. The puzzles are nice, some note taking probably required. This series appears to make reference to some greek/latin words on occasion, so a familiarity with that may give one a bit of a head start on a few puzzles. The atmosphere is pretty good and there is a little bit of a story to unpack (not that I caught much of it). Some Issues: Since this game features a single fairly long environment, a save system perhaps ought to have been implemented. The resolution options featured in the graphics settings are a bit weird and wacky. For example, 2560x1440 doesn't appear to be offered. In the puzzle with the mirrors, it is very slow to alter their rotation, a bit silly perhaps. There is a time limit of 90 minutes, unless disabled by "Relax Mode". Pretty meaningless feature, could be removed. 62/1001 found this helpful
Glitches, bad puzzles, text not leaving screen, etc, etc. I WISH I could get my money back. Bad game is bad.
It is the worst of the Mad Experiments games. The atmosphere is nice. the assets are solid. Voice acting seems fine. I did not care for the puzzles. There are two audio puzzles I think. Of one I am sure the other one I brute forced because I was clueless even after finding the clues for it. I just have some hearing issues and can not differentiate certain sounds well. Some objects are just hidden to well in the environment. I think I was looking for a key for 20 minutes and time ran out while looking for a pick. For the longest time I thought I was dead locked. There is also a laser beam puzzle or two I did not care very much for due to the clunky controls and not really seeing what one is manipulated and in which way. The last puzzle did only partially make sense to me. Its frustrating to figure out the how but nothing makes sense. Brute force time again. The hint system is sparse and basically tells the player the solution. If you are into those games. Get it on deep discount. If you are new to the genre and it looks like fun. Find something else first but feel free to come back. There is a lot of potential there and I hope the developers will improve. Score: 4/9
Had an issue with the lighting being too dark on my old laptop. After tweaking settings it was fine. Just a heads-up for potato PCs
We glitched out once, had to restart the level, but honestly still worth it. The sense of discovery when you realize how the clues connect is great.
