About Mage Food Truck
The single player evolution of Space Food Truck, Mage Food Truck is a tongue-in-cheek, culinary fantasy roguelike! Use your growing card collection to explore a hangry realm, crafting exotic ingredients into delicious dishes. Can you score enough gold for a rave review, or will your crew be undone by fantastical beasts and curses from dissatisfied customers? Runs take about 45 minutes.
Gameplay
Each run consists of a Morning, Day, and Night shift, with turn events that become increasingly perilous. You'll play hands of cards to traverse the realm, collect ingredients, craft recipes, and bank as much gold as possible. When the day is done or your truck is wrecked by monsters, your customers shall pass judgment upon you with a review of 0-3 stars! Each work day begins with a small starter deck, and you’ll purchase new cards from the Turvy Mart at the end of each turn. Play a Job card to choose any crew member's ability, then add other cards from your hand to boost their productivity!- The Explorer travels around the map, seeking ingredients and delivering food
- The Chef crafts recipes with ingredients you've collected
- The Mage protects your truck with a magic shield and fights off pesky curses
- The Bard motivates your crew with EXP, unlocking powerful Special cards unique to each crew member

An absolutely worthy legacy sequel to Space Food Truck. I'm one of those masochist who played SFT by himself, so creating a streamlined food truck card for one player was much appreciated. I especially appreciated when the gems were added to this one; it was exciting to see how the whole game transformed with a new challenge. A great mix of humor and gameplay. I will admit I miss the flavor text from SFT where some of the charm gets lost in this, for example I would love more recipes and the characters interacting/commenting. The creator understands the assignment of making fun of high fantasy (and science fiction in SFT), so I want more! I would also love a "forever mode" where you just last as long as possible and it gets harder and harder until you fall apart (just like SFT!). Regardless, I am so happy with this game. The lack of multiplayer will not keep me attached as long as Space Food Truck, but after around 10 hours I had all the achievements and now I have 36 hours and still enjoying it. Support Delectabus and enjoy Feastivus!1 found this helpful
Very cute game with challenging board game mechanics. Found myself really enjoying it
I played Space Food Truck, Slay the Spire, Monster Train and then some. There are a lot of bad deck building wanna be games out there - this is simple but worth it. It only has single player, but really Space Food Truck i only played with other players in a way that was basically single player anyways. Its also greate to see that the author made another game.

[h1]Mage Food Truck: Praise Delectabus![/h1] A light-hearted roguelike culinary deck builder with plenty of replay value (especially with the new God of Food Trucks patch), ideal for fans of Dungeons and Dragons and Munchkin. Play sessions are relatively brief, with difficulty and campaign length varying based on luck, Scoville level, and whether players opt for a ‘Snack’ or an ‘Entrée’. It’s bright, it’s funny, and it’s intuitive, and I easily lost 4 hours to it while trying it out after a long day at work. If you’re the kind of gamer looking for something you can easily pick up and enjoy in bitesize sessions, or who cracks a smile at references to your favourite games, then you’ll find Mage Food Truck is overflowing with charm that’s sure to brighten your day. What’s more, the food available in-game depends on whether you choose the Omnivore or Vegetarian menu, which is a very considerate touch!
