Hello everyone! Thanks for being able to follow this game, it's a game that I've made in a year of my spare time, overcoming all sorts of (laborer) difficulties. At the moment the game isn't quite done, it's far from my expectations and I've hit some bottlenecks in my work. It's also a time when I'm facing a big decision, so I thought it would be a good idea to let this game come out earlier, to accept criticism and accusations, and to help me, as a newcomer, to finish this work faster and better!

I like the concept, I *want* to like this game, and I played the demo when it was up and then bought it on launch. But this is a very, very basic and unbalanced game. This is my Day 1 review of frustration. One major issue with the game is magic points/mana. I have no idea what magic potion recipes are, and you only get a couple early on, with no way that I can see to get more. There are lots of food recipes, and a "free crafting" mode, but you have to use the exact recipes to craft food, adding anything more to a real recipe, even one extra egg, creates a health potion instead. There are tons of health potion recipes, and tons of "Unknown Food" recipes, which are basically failures. No sign of mana potion recipes though. And all the chests you get from redoing earlier levels all seem to give health potions or money too, not mana, until I think Chest 3 of Ruins Forest Center, which itself is not really a soloable zone without mana potions. Addendum: There is one thing I didn't realise but that they do passingly tell you early on, which is that eating food does restore 1000 power or so each. That actually negates a fair amount of the mana issues. It doesn't negate the overall jank…

Magicar of Delicious 4/5 I bought this game because I love shop sims are there are simply not enough, yet each one brings their own twist. This one does a decent job of presenting my two of my favorite genres. Tutorial is great, some of the text is no in english but then afterwards there is a tutorial style pop up with good written and visual instructions of what the game is trying to teach you. Achievements are unforntunately not in English at the moment. You start as a car on a track, you typically just go around in a circle. I've only played the early levels but there is no opportunity to redirect the cart even though this is a mechanic in the game where you can actually navigate a fork in the road. Once you've beaten a level you can go back to camp and cook a variety of meals and sell the excess for gold. You use gold to level up the cart, the amount of towers you can build, and to unlock new build and recipies. It's never explained where the materials come from, or where to find a specific material. It also can be quite tough sometimes as you cant optimise your towers as the final upgrades are not in english. The upgrade icons also dont specify what the final upgrade is try…

fun/funny concept, but very bad design and balancing, lot of physics glitches/issues, and genuinely just... not playable. Also, portions of the game and instructions are not yet english translated.
