Build a party of heroes, fight off hordes of monsters, use resources to craft powerful new equipment, then fight stronger monsters or battle other players' parties in the arena!

While it's possible to stumble through the game without really understanding how anything works, if you want to reach the cutting edge of content, or if you want to earn a high rank in the arena, then you're going to have to apply effort and spend time learning how the various mechanics work.

[h3]Majula Frontier is an autobattler based on the EF Universe franchise. Essentially, a gameplay loop of pushing numbers higher by exp grinding, item and gear crafting, and character draws via gacha. The game requires online servers, and as such, will become unplayable sometime soon in 2024.[/h3] [i]This review is intended to be informational, but since steam forces a rating, selecting positive because of continued developer support and assistance in making completion readily available before retirement.[/i] Familiarity with the Majula universe is not needed, although the events of the game appear to follow after the self-titled Frontier game. [i]Offense[/i] contains the same cheeky writing and cast of characters, who get in a few lines once in a while as your town level increases. Briefly, the game roughly follows the following sequence: [olist][*]Acquire characters via daily gacha. You get two free, then two for 4 mission wins, then 2 more for daily arena participation. What you pull is completely random, not only in which character, but also in nature, skill, and weapon affinity. Majula Frontier is a mobile app clicker/time management game with an RPG theme (not to be confused with actually being an RPG, this is just a clicker). It also has a strange and bewildering surprise. This mobile app doesn't seem to have been launched on the app stores where it belongs, and was launched on Steam by mistake. Like the mobile games this was clearly supposed to be, it's not free, it's pay to play and pay 2 win. There's very little in the way of gameplay, it's just clicking on web browser tier text windows and doing "missions" which involve little to no decision making, just a lot of clicking. Until they ask you to pay them and squeal like good little mobile app microtransaction piggies. There's thousands of free games on Steam, my recommendation is to avoid mobile/browser pay 2 win shovelware like this and focus on decent games instead.1 found this helpful
