Marble Champions

I know my review time is low, but I've already seen most of what this game offers. I really like marble games but unfortunately this one is very stale and repetitive. Pros: - The Fall Guys style races with tons of marbles are with bots, which sounds bad, but I don't think this game could fill a lobby, so at least you can play the game mode still. - 4 Player local co-op is a great option. - The actual controls are average. Having a boost and brake is good. - The game lets you do small skips if you can drop down to a lower part of the track. Cons: - The whole experience is ruined by extremely simplistic tracks. Mostly flat road, half pipes, boosts/ramps, and a few random gimmick obstacles here and there. There ARE longer courses, but many of them are like 20 seconds long for some reason (but even the long ones are just like 5 short ones glued together). Because of this, every race feels the same and it gets repetitive VERY fast. - Overall presentation with the cheap sounding music and constant currency collection makes it feel like a mobile game. Super fun game with a load of single player content. Feels like a good mix of Super Monkey Ball and Fall Guys. My only problem is i cant get it to go back to full screen on my Steam Deck ???????

I will fully support what this game offers compared to another Whale Farming Twitch Streaming Marble Game. I was a huge fan of another title called "Marbles on Stream" so this will be a comparison of these two titles Marble Champions is low one time cost to access Manual Control races , Community tracks, official tracks, 100+ skins to unlock , Map builder , Battle royale and automatic and manual races with a Twitch audience. Marbles on Stream is free to access automatic races , a monkeyball style mode . battle royale , community maps , official maps. One marble slot and a free white ball skin. BUT you have to pay monthly to access the full Map builder suite. Thats right you have to pay for the honor to make maps for other streamers to rip off your work. You have to pay for skins and pay for 39 skin slots for viewers to use your skins. Your viewers can pay for ball trails , spawn in effects , Profile borders , Race finish effects, and their own skins to override yours. You can earn free currency by streaming races IF you have enough viewers in a race to earn XP and the XP grind is brutal for smaller streamers because most viewers are in fully loaded streams cause they also earn mo…

I am genuinely astounded by how much potential this game has, and how much they absolutely and totally ruined it by making one of the worst designed games I have ever seen in my life. Playing this is worse than water torture.
