About Maximum Action
✦ AI summary
Blast through arcade-style levels in slow-motion glory, pulling off creative combos of dives, slides, and gunplay inspired by '80s action cinema. Build your own levels and weapons with full mod support, turning every playthrough into a sandbox for stylish experimentation.
MAXIMUM Action is the stress ball of first-person shooters. If you are looking for a story-driven narrative with complex characters then this is NOT the game for you. But if you are looking for a quick dose of highly replayable slow-motion heroic bloodshed with homages to classic ’80s and '90s action flicks then MAXIMUM Action might just be the FPS you’ve been dreaming of.
No complicated skill trees, leveling up, or drawn-out cutscenes, just pure fun that gets straight to the point.
Where MAXIMUM Action shines is in its emphasis on creativity and replayability. The entire game has been designed as a sandbox for the player to experiment in. From simply approaching levels with different combinations of dives, slides, and kicks, to a fully-fledged level editor allowing players to create action in any way they see fit. Further, use the sandbox menu to replay levels with different combinations of weapons or add more enemies to up the challenge.
And with full workshop and mod support, experiment with hundreds of custom levels and weapons to spice up the action!
Getting the best experience out of MAXIMUM Action requires a bit of creativity and imagination from the player, and I understand not everyone is up to the challenge! But if you’ve always wanted to play a role in your own balls to the wall action movie then I’d say give MAXIMUM Action a try!

Great game, but very short. Blood is way to pink but bullet decals in enemies is great and reactions are also very good. Recommend
gets it on the sale ok??? its only on sale you get it its sale only game sale get buy ok???
Game is pretty awesome. The vibe is very good, the gunplay and the slow time make for a perfect combo together. Pretty cool to try out new methods of killing people. Good game, but from what I've seen, there isn't much of a story (yet), which is a little disappointing.
Very Good
Hard Boiled: The Game 10/10
This was a ton of fun, and it isn't even done yet. The controls are very responsive, aiming and shooting feels good, and the slow motion tool is a godsend. The game is still getting updated, and does have collectibles that encourage replaying levels. There are VHS tapes that unlock ENDLESS maps, and small gold figures that unlock cheats. The cheats alone make replaying levels a blast and a half. In a market oversaturated with Call Of Duty clones, this is a breath of fresh air. Not only a return to simpler shooters, but a little piece of something new. Play this if you wanna have fun, skip it if you want to go back to the COD lobby and scream at children.
