Get it for X8, maybe X5.. X6 isn't as bad as everyone says but for the love of god stay the ♥♥♥♥ away from X7. It is legitimately the worst X game and in the ranks for worst mega man games as a whole. Get collection 1 first if you want to get into the X series. As much as I love this series and these games even I can't deny that collection 2 sorta feels like sloppy seconds. X8 is amazing and X5 has it's moments but they still don't compare to the og 4. I know it's not canon but they could have thrown in Command Mission as well to give this one a bit more bang for your buck. Get this if you like the X series, get the first collection if your new.. or buy both to let Crapcom know we want more Mega Man X1 found this helpful

Really well made collection and the upscaled visuals looked awesome
X5 is worth grabbing this on sale. X6 to X8 vary from "What sadist designed this level?" to "What idiot coded the camera."
