Melania

Melania is yet another asset flip/construction kit template copy+paste from serial Russian shovelware asset flippers, Dnovel/FreeAnimals_Software/Trinity Project/My Way Games (how many sockpuppet accounts does this guy need to mislead gamers with?). This guy does nothing but copy asset store assets and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab. Today's "effort" from these guys is Melania, and it's a garbage copy + paste of a commonly used gravity inversion puzzle platformer slapped together with the godawful Cocos2D game development engine. As a game, it's terrible, of course, every time Dnovel copies this game and dumps it on Steam, it doesn't get any better. Copying templates from construction kits doesn't need any talent or professional game development effort, and results in shallow, low quality shovelware like Melania. Melania is a challenging third-person puzzle game where you must dodge obstacles similar to Super Meat Boy. It's a fast-paced experience, much like Geometry Dash, where precision and quick reflexes are key. The exciting background music really enhances the gameplay, keeping you pumped as you try to navigate through tricky levels. The graphics are clean and visually appealing, adding to the overall fun. If you enjoy games that test your patience and skills, this one is definitely worth a try!

This game is absolutely horrible! There is no rhyme or reason to the controls, nor any guidance. Just when you think you've figured them out... nope! I am convinced that all of the positive reviews are just the developers friends.

Can somebody explain the controls? With zero help (except a few screens that look like a keyboard with indications of what certain keys might do that flashes on the screen for only half a second, and a similar one for a controller [yet the controller doesn't seem to do anything), I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I sorta get that changing the direction of gravity is involved, but until I understand how the controls work, this one is a "no go" for me.

Did you know that you can fly by mashing space? I don't think the dev did...
