More RPGMaker trash, although this one has pretty visuals, but it doesn't change the RPGMaker's gameplay.

A most fine RPG made with the same quality as City of Chains. Story is even better although mechanics wise a bit more limited though spending time on weapon and augmentation setups is worth the trouble. This particular game provides a lot of background story for characters seen in the more technically limited Outrage game so this one is recommended to play before that one. Again a good game to recommend assuming one can stomach the old aging rpg maker VX engine. Astronomic Games is to me a sign of quality these days. If one has a strong opinion that rpg maker games are either shovel ware or the base of very old jrpg games only then this developer brings the best antidote to that by showing it can still be pretty decent especially when price of these gems is not that particularly high.

Honestly its hard to rate/recommend this game because it feels like Im biased in favour of it. It's just sad how many people dont try to add rpg mechanics(like charisma dialogue checks) into RPG maker games, but this game does try to do it and I give it credit for that! My main two issues as to why its hard to recommend this game is 1) Meh RPG maker combat and 2) Lack of rpg elements. Combat is self explanatory although I do admit in second half of the game the bosses do almost carry combat on its shoulders and make it sort of fun, for example one super memorable boss was in the corporate building you, Carmilla and Centurion infiltrate, I wont spoil the boss gimmick but it is cute and creative even if small. also I played the game 1st time on hard difficulty and then on easy for "evil" playthrough but didnt notice too many changes in bosses, biggest change was just how much time you spend regenerating hp running around in circles(hp regenerates outside of combat, which is nice albeit it does trivialise 99% of combat beside boss encounters) since hp stations only have 1 use in hard. This is quite obviously a game made with some RPG maker and standard assets, and it uses those brilliantly! Whoever wrote this game has a good understanding of the cyberpunk genre and setting. The quests have enough twists and surprises to keep it interesting and the gameplay mechanics are good. Really shows what you can do with basic tools, great game

A pretty solid RPG that doesn't take too long to finish. Good systems and a good story made it an enjoyable quick journey into a cyberpunk world. While it seems simple, I particularly liked how experience is tied solely to quest completion, meaning you can play how you want without missing out. So feel free to take lockpicking, or stealth, or avoid those fights all together! A respec option would be nice for skills, but I feel that way about every RPG haha.
