RUINER is a brutal top-down action shooter set in a neon-soaked 2091 where you fight your way through a corrupt mega-corporation to rescue your kidnapped brother. Blend lightning-fast reflexes with time-slowing tactics, high-tech weapons, and hacking abilities to tear through waves of enemies in a story-driven cyberpunk rampage.
Sophisticated & Brutal Combat: RUINER features lightning fast combat that requires a delicate balance of overwhelming, brute force, and elegant strikes to overcome all manner of savage opponents. Blast through crowds or slow down time and hand select your points of attack before unleashing a storm of violence on the battlefield.
Cyberpunk Inspired Arsenal: Equip all manner of high-tech firearms and melee weapons to ruin all that oppose you. Employ state of the art gadgets like energy shield, dash augmentations, and the switch gun stun or hack the opposition onto your side of the fight.

about Reikon
Reikon is an independent studio located in Warsaw founded in 2014 by four veteran game designers whose work includes the Witcher series, Dying Light, This War of Mine and Shadow Warrior. RUINER is their debut project as a studio and has been quietly in production since January 2015.

Awesome top-town shooter cyberpunk game. I like the story and its whole vibe, the combat is entertaining and you can switch it in favor depending on your gameplay style, the dialogues are fun to read, the mechanics are fun, I recommend playing with a controller. Seems like the devs had fun designing the enemies, the world building details are cool and the music goes very well with it too.1 found this helpful

Ruiner is a thoroughly entertaining, well-paced top-down shooter. The absolute highlight is the game's dark, gritty cyberpunk atmosphere, which is incredibly well-executed and highly immersive. While the gameplay mechanics are relatively straightforward and familiar, the tight combat and stylish art direction keep the experience engaging from start to finish.
Cool game, great design and soundtrack.
Absolute "we were never friends" + "kill you" + "hello darkness" + "drink it" + "no file" + "nowhere to hide" [spoiler] and some "get him, puppy"[/spoiler]
It gets a bit repetitive by the end, but it's pretty fun all around. Cool music and art style.
