About Midnight Monitor: Aldercourt
Aldercourt City Council, in association with Sequre Transport Authority, welcome you into Aldercourt Station.
Aldercourt Station is a sprawling and expansive addition to London's Travel Network. Come get lost amonst its tile halls and take in the scenery as you pass through its liminal spaces.
It can be a little difficult to find your way through the station however - Follow the signs, keep your eyes open and you'll be just fine.
What is Midnight Monitor: Aldercourt?
Midnight Monitor: Aldercourt is a "walking simulator" anomaly spotting game, heavily inspired by creepy internet stories around the Backrooms, the concept of Liminal Spaces, and other games of this genre such as "The Exit 8".
In Midnight Monitor: Aldercourt, you will need to watch your surroundings for any changes (big or small) as you loop through the Station. Anything can change - Walls and windows can appear, gravity can change, people can act strangely... And your life could be in danger.
Play Time
The game features 40+ anomalies for players to find with an approx. playtime of 15 Mins - 2 Hours. Completionists may opt to find every anomaly.

AI-generated slop intended for "content creators". I walked down an endless corridor for 15 minutes and nothing happened. Genuinely don't understand the point of this game. Performance is abysmal and it somehow heats up my PC more than most AAA games.5 found this helpful
!!WARNING!! This game contains AI. Be sure to not buy it for that reason alone, but if that doesn't convince you to not play then continue reading. It introduces nothing new over Exit 8 and manages to have the same quirks, such as posters that change and a person that walks who can be an anomaly. I appreciate the ATTEMPT to be different, but when you have the entire core concept intact and simply add more to analyze, you make the game convoluted rather than unique or innovative. The only reason this game isn't a 0/10 is because it has some funny lines once in a while and a speedrun mode. Overall score: 4/104 found this helpful
Straight up a bad copy of The Exit 8. Lacks the finesse and creepy atmosphere of the original. Also contains a bunch of (undisclosed?) AI generated artwork.3 found this helpful
The creator openly admits that this is an enthusiastic rip off of The Exit 8. It is superficially almost the same game, with even some of the same anomalies, but this developer tried to be funny. Some of it works as humor and other moments are just kind of the dorky things I'd stick in a game if I could quickly code a parody of a very specific genre. I decided to 100% the game, but for that I should have read the achievements before even starting. It was annoying to go back and get a particular anomaly out of 80 possibilities to reappear just for one more achievement. For perspective, The Exit 8 took me less than 2 hours. To see every anomaly in this one was over twice as long, a couple of hundred runs through the hallway. But to then get the ones I needed for achievements, I had to speedrun the halls like 400 more times, which took over an hour of not really paying attention. At least a sign on the wall tracks how many runs you've made and how many anomalies you've identified. And until you identify all anomalies, you can turn on prioritizing new ones, just not new ones exclusively.
Its Exit 8 but by a different dev. Loved it, although I did struggle with some of the anomalies. If you enjoy this kind of anomaly game, this one is good.
