Mochi The Samurai is an amateurish anime-style fantasy action RPG. Gameplay consists of going through a series of stages and defeating each stage's boss and if the stage has a dungeon you need to clear that too. In each stage you can collect weapons and find items that either heal you, buff your attacks, buff your magic, or create a temporary magic shield. Despite being an RPG there is no leveling up and no stats other than HP and stamina. Once you beat the game you get a short cut-scene in japanese with no english subtitles. I played on normal and beat the game in just over 2 hours but I was confused about how to get the super weapon on the last stage (when I finally figured out after walking around for 20 minutes it turned out not to even be better than a weapon I found on stage 1). Combat: Combat consists of melee attacks (basically just left-clicking), magic attacks (I never really used these), quick dodges, and using items. Stages are filled with tons of healing items (they all heal you to max hp) which makes combat pretty generous. Attacking uses stamina and if you try attacking without having any stamina a very out of place TTS voice saying "I have no stamina" will play. Th…2 found this helpful
