Monster Crown: Sin Eater begins as your bog-standard monster tamer, but quickly develops a depth I've rarely seen in this genre. Loot drops and enemy tamers respawn after 24 hours in-game, or when you reload a save, allowing you to come back and farm an area or dungeon as much as you like. [*]Enemy monsters visibly wander around in the overworld. No shuffling through tall grass in this game! [*]The breeding and fusion systems are very intuitive. It's easy to breed an entire line of monsters with the best stats you can find, and the exact moves and traits you desire. This even includes type, color palette, and species. [*]Any monster can breed or fuse with any other monster. You don't need to remember "egg groups." [*]You can ride your lead monster to move faster. Absolutely amazing game worth every penny. A mature take on creature collector games with beautiful art. EASY to get into and start understanding, and lots of fun with so many fusions. Worth the price

Tons of monsters, great fusion system, only thing id want is more depth for the skills/moves but im just being picky. Awesome game.

Fantastic game, I loved the first one when it dropped years ago. This is that but much.. MUCH better. The story is actually intriguing and the characters are well done. Sprites for monsters out of the thousand+ look great aside from a few I've seen but probably personal tastes. The fusion system is fantastic and the genome editing is great for maxing the potential of your monsters and finding the right setup for your team! I would love more repeatable content and potentially dynamic post game level cap boosts/ways to surpass it for even bigger numbers and more grinding! This game has been absolutely fantastic in my experience so far just want more repeatable content and more things to grind for as mentioned above! I recommend this 110% to anyone who loves creature collectors and wants a great story and visuals to pair with it!

I loved my time with this game. Monster Crown: Sin Eater is an open-world monster-taming RPG with an edge that does not compromise on those core aspects, which on the whole, makes for an extremely gratifying and immersive experience. The open world, if a little small, is GORGEOUS, and is densely packed with opportunities to explore and be rewarded for that exploration. I will always prefer a smaller world with more things to do than a world that's a mile wide and an inch thick. The world is actively built up with lore that offers enough to satisfy, while still having vague elements, or opportunities to imagine. And the soundtrack is simply great, it would fit right in to the growing "video game soundtrack canon" if only more people knew how good it was. The music, characters, and writing in this game are generally working in perfect sync -- this game is not a purely vibes-based writing showcase like e.g. Earthbound, though, which is a good thing. It reminds me of the good ol days of Pokémon Gold and Silver... if the good ol days had super bad navigation, the game barely telling you on what to do next and barely finding out which new monster is new form of itself or the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monster you've seen over and over again because your constantly farming for the next level your going to. I mean ♥♥♥♥ you couldn't give any of the new players to your game a functioning ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map to tell them where to go next because there are so many big areas that branch off that don't actually continue the story? I was so confused the first time I played this game because I was wondering where to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ go next because the game barely tells you at all. God what bad game design. Not to mention this is NOT worth 25 dollars...
