Welcome back recruit! MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE is a frantic VR FPS roguelite where players craft powerful hand-held weapons and struggle to survive — er defeat — the MOTHERGUNSHIP. Experience room scale movement*, dodging, limbo-ing and even relishing the satisfaction of literally punching through clouds of bullets, all while perfecting your weapon masterpiece.
Survive the MOTHERGUNSHIP’s metal minions and earn gun parts to add to your weapon, easily picking them up and snapping them into place in VR. You’ll choose from a wild array of distinct gun parts and upgrades like chainguns, railguns, and pizza launchers (yes, explosive pizzas) to forge hell-ish combinations. Design your weapon, then destroy the MOTHERGUNSHIP fleet as alien machines, explosive traps, metal pests, and deadly bosses do everything they can to blast you and your weapon back to square one.
*MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE includes accessibility modes to support all players. Seated-mode enables stationary gameplay, and free movement mode enables the player character to dodge with the controller. More accessibility information can be found in the game’s settings.

Zero complaints and thats almost impossible for a VR game. I was even able to play for many hours without getting exausted but still had TONS of fun. The gun combos are NUTS. Update Unlocked endless mode. This game is highly under rated.2 found this helpful

INCREDIBLE! One of the best games I've played, this is a MUST GET game for steamvr, get this now. It isn't too fast paced which allows for newer people to get the hang of it before tackling harder modes and challagnes, super fun with friends, and over all a really good game! Multiplayer is a little hard to play with randoms as it will take a long time to queue. Recommend playing with a friend
Building your gun is very fun and the gameplay loop is overall very good but the healing bots should not be able to target the shield bots. its can get you in a situation you just cant win. like if the healing bot is behind something and is just infinitely healing a shield who is in turn shielding another healing bot that is infinitely healing that same shield. meanwhile other enemies are building up and being shielded and healed. i understand the need for randomness in terms of your pickups but the healing/shield combo is not possible to overcome sometimes if you just get unlucky and don't get high damage/ shield piercing. its holding back the entire game from a higher rating in my opinion.
