Myrne: The Quest is a first-person action-RPG. It's the follow-up of Song of the Myrne: What Lies Beneath (no need to have played it to fully enjoy this one though).
The Quest is a single player game, following a story, where everything is hand-crafted (no procedural generation, just love^^).
Get back to the world of the Myrne with its silly humor and discover why the night never goes away in this new region... Or don't, you're just here for that magic artifact after all, no way this malediction will have anything to do with your personal quest... Erm...
▶ This time, see everything through the eyes of your character in a fully 3D environment, you'll finaly be able to see the Myrne in the Sky... and familiar faces too (not in the sky though).
▶ Build your character as you please. The game isn't class based so you're free to choose and mix (!) your own play styles at any time (well, maybe the final boss fight is the wrong moment to start practicing your skill with a bow). Cast fireballs while wearing an heavy plate armor, pierce enemies with your trusty lance or just stab them with a stake if that's your thing (the weapon's pretty weak though, I'm judging you).
▶ Your character evolves according to your playstyle. Using heavy armor will make you better with them; hitting broken things with a hammer will somehow improve your capacity at fixing things, while actually fixing the said broken things, sick!
▶ Create potions, scrap unused weapons and armors to fix your stuff, craft more arrows or just pile up a lot of scrap... why are you doing this?
▶ Talk with silly characters to get quests (like all adventurers, you just can't say no, do you?). If monsters don't kill you, the silliness and lack of basic logic of the villagers surely will.
▶ Explore dungeons to get better loot... to... explore more dungeons? It makes sense I guess.
▶ As usual with Myrne games, the OST (by Dane Ashton and Jamal Green, mostly) is available for free (even if you don't own the game). You can find it on Youtube too!
I'm just one guy, trying to create fun RPGs (and hopefully succeeding). I take inspirations in games like Arx Fatalis, Morrowind, Arcanum, tabletop RPGs and even boardgames (like Descent 2nd ed., Mistfall, Level 7: Omega Protocol). Do you play boardgames? You should, it's amazing once you've burned your Monopoly and bought real games. Why am I telling you that?! Keep playing on a computer! GET BACK!
I started crafting games in 2014 (maybe a little before, but nobody wants to hear about those awful, never-to-be-released projects anyway) and already released a game on Steam (that got positives reviews, too^^). I did make some other small projects for Ludum Dare and other game jams too. They all share the same universe which I intend to keep expanding through future games too, so stay tuned ;)

I get stuck trying to find the priest and can't progress any further. I've wasted 4hrs on this game, played through twice only to get stuck on the same part. I think there is a puzzle or a lever I'm missing. It's a nice game, but I'm not going to be spending anymore time on it1 found this helpful
A short *playground* of a little action adventure rpg with soothingly heartfelt music set in a world that's one part genuinely worldbuilt, one part comedic (everyone in the world is crazy). Flavour text makes up a great deal of fun, so snoop around! Always a pleasure with this series. Again, the ost seriously makes me wanna curl up by a fireplace and look out a window. There's only one negative thing I have to say. I LOVE that you can just throw items everywhere and they won't despawn. But sadly, some of my items like my trading cards and lore books vanished, which has made me sad.1 found this helpful
A charming RPG. There's a lot to like here and its too bad it wasn't developed into a longer game. Nevertheless, it's absolutely worth the money for a couple afternoons of entertainment.
I love this game. Its pretty fun to play, and there are some good mechanics, like being able to scrap items to craft other items. In a lot of games like this, I usually hoard items just in case I can sell them or if something breaks I have backup items. And in many of those cases I never end up using them. With this game I have a real reason to hold onto items, even if I know I won't be using those items, I can scrap them to make something that I will use. Combat is ok, but I do wish you could maybe charge up item attacks. The game does have it's problems, especially when it comes to physics and collisions. I encountered several times where items would freak out a bit, or clip through the floor. Another problem I noticed that was really common through out the game is when you rub up against objects the camera will jitter a bit. There was one part where I got stuck because a scroll with important information disappeared, but luckily the dev was nice enough to help me out which I really appreciate. Overall this game was fun, it's a bit rough around the edges, but not enough to make it not enjoyable.
Unfinished but fun proto-immersive sim. I think this game is a fun showcase of immersive sim concepts and dungeon crawling in a neat concise package. My issues with it is mostly for the combat not being very good, I feel as though the beginning had the most fun areas. I didn't care for the final puzzle all that much, but I enjoyed the corny internet humor - reminded me of Adventure Quest or something. I think it's worth a shot if you like immersive sims and wanna see a dev play around with it.
Good job for a one man team. [spoiler] But that ending sucked bunghole. [/spoiler]
