About Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island

THE GODS ARE REAL, THEY’VE JUST BEEN ON VACATION
You’re Alex, a rookie backpacker taking a much needed break from modern life. Your trip is interrupted when you are suddenly shipwrecked on Ambrosia Island; a beautiful long-forgotten place of myth and sunshine. It’s home to the gods of Greek mythology. They’re real after all, even if they are having an identity crisis.
Can you discover the secrets of Ambrosia Island in this sun-drenched 'Friend Em Up' adventure.

GAMEPLAY - TREASURE HUNT
Sometimes, even gods need a friend. Many call the island home; from Ares to Athena, Hermes to Hades, although some may be harder to meet than others. Can you help return their lost memories and reconnect their fractured family?
- Control Alex to explore a 3D island with your trusty Ambrosidex device in hand.
- Find each of the island’s inhabitants and add their personal signal to your Ambrosidex. Some Gods may be harder to reach than others!
- Use the Ambrosidex’s radar signal to find your new friends' lost treasures hidden around the island.
- Return the mementos to their correct owner to jog their memories, trigger flashbacks and reveal the story of the island’s curse.
- Can you wake the gods, lift the curse and find a way home?

GAMEPLAY - STORY SANDBOX
Why did the Gods lose their memories? How did they become so fearful of one another? What happened here? Search the island for long-lost mementos to rekindle the memories of your new friends and uncover the truth, and maybe a way home.
- As you explore the island Alex can examine new objects and locations she discovers and talk to the characters she meets to unlock new conversation topics
- You can then ask the island’s inhabitants about any new topics you have found.
- Maybe they’ll know something that will help Alex on her adventure, although some sensitive topics may be off limits until you have earned their friendship.
- Play detective and uncover the mysteries of the island with this unique non-linear narrative gameplay.

EXPLORE THE ISLAND AND RETURN IT TO ITS FORMER GLORY
The island of Ambrosia is a wonderful place packed full of mystery and secrets, from its turquoise shores to the heights of its ancient temple walls. The island is idyllic, but the temple of the gods has seen better days. Can you be the unlikely hero to return it to its legendary former glory and win the friendship of the gods in the process?
- Ambrosia Island has a dynamic day/night cycle, some locations and puzzles may only be accessible at certain times of day
- Perform odd jobs and friendship favours for your new friends to restore their island to its former glory

Sincerely a 10/10 game. Absolutely gorgeous aesthetic design, and the island is so much fun to explore. The story is beautiful, heartfelt, and inescapably resonant. Even if the story weren't, the gameplay loop is so tremendously satisfying that I'd play it anyway. In the 25 hours since I started this game, I devoted every hour possible to playing it - it sunk its hooks into me deeply and didn't let go until the credits rolled. I know this studio is all about cooking up unique ideas, but I sincerely hope to see a sequel to this incredible game one day.1 found this helpful
A nice little casual game, lots of running backwards and forwards, getting things for oddball gods, with a fail dose of history.
I really enjoyed this game, the simple but distinct art and fantastic storyline.
3/5. Yer average adventure game. Conversation with characters is just interesting enough to keep playing. Could have benefitted from challenging puzzles (currently, they are rote) and more eyelid on the characters (everyone looks INCREDIBLY INTENSE at all times). Edit: I think I would have absolutely loved it as a tween when in my Greek mythology phase, although my favorite part would have been "well, actually..."ing it.
Relaxing, charming, engaging and heart-warming! Highly recommended.
enjoyable exploration game, the characters are funny and full of heart
