✦ AI summary
Players praise this as a fantastic arcade classic with great gameplay mechanics, but are frustrated by a critical save bug that wipes progress and settings on every restart, making it unplayable for extended sessions. Performance issues in borderless mode and crashes when loading save states further diminish the experience, though the core game itself is considered worthwhile for nostalgic fans despite these technical problems.
You have no idea how long I've been looking for this game. Apparently the framerates suck when in borderless so make sure you set it to fullscreen3 found this helpful
The game doesn't save anything. Your score and settings reset every time you boot it. It has save states (because this is actually an emulator) but it crashes when you load a save state, which means it has FEWER features than the original game from 1998 AND fewer features than a PSX emulator. If they fix this, I'll revise to thumbs-up, but they probably won't because it's been out for 2 years already.2 found this helpful

cant save progress due to a bug 😢
N20 Nitrous Oxide 1998 PS One Classic
Fantastic classic, ig some developers were playing Tempest on psychedelics and said, "We could make it better" and they did. It's a fun arcade classic that's 100% worth the price.
