About Nekomancer of Nowhere
Step into the paws of the Nekomancer! To harness the power of Nekomancy, you'll have to draw glyphs on your screen. Draw a 'Portal' to seamlessly flip between the realms of the living and the dead! Every room of the tower has two layouts, one for each realm! You'll need to master the art of swapping between life and death to traverse the tower.As a Nekomancer, you have access to spells of resurrection. To cast a resurrection spell, you'll need to tag a ghost with the swipe of a magic-infused paw. Ghosts of different animal species require different glyphs to cast the resurrection spell. You must resurrect all the ghosts in both realms to clear a path forward!
Your spellcasting skillset will allow you to explore Tombstone Tower, resurrect ghosts, and meet many characters who have a unique relationship with death. What awaits at the end of the Nekomancer's death-defying journey to Tombstone Tower's precipice?

Story
The Nekomancer's goal is to free the ghosts of Tombstone Tower from their frightful slumber. On your journey up the spire, you'll encounter many an adventurer with their own personal story and goals. Very cute game, simple and short. had a lot of fun solving the simple puzzles and reading all the character interactions. My only gripe is that its too short. So, for me it was a bit pricey, but if its on sale for less than $5 its a no brainer1 found this helpful

After seeing this game at Pax East two years in a row I was very excited to give it a try. The mechanics seemed fun, any game that lets you draw as the main way to do things is worth checking out in my book. However, Nekomancer misses the mark if you're looking for interesting gameplay. I understand that drawing games have to calculate if what you've drawn is close to something it will recognize, but oh my goodness. So many many times I would draw a symbol and the game would randomly decide that wasn't good enough, after having taken it a dozen times before. This was shown especially harshly during the final boss, where it just wouldn't work. I followed the guide exactly and it just wouldn't take it. The mechanics also never get particularly interesting, the whole game just feels slow, all the time. EDIT: After trying the boss a few more times I realized that they introduce a mechanic on it that is not present anywhere else in the game, in any form. There are not other bosses in the game minus the final one. You should not wait until the end of your game to introduce a new mechanic that the game has not had anything similar to in it's entire runtime up to that point. I wish I coul…
