✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's impressive 3D graphics, interesting environments, and generally challenging puzzles, but are frequently frustrated by puzzle design that lacks logic or clear feedback mechanisms, with some puzzles requiring obscure solutions that aren't adequately explained or seem like pure guesswork. A major complaint involves puzzles with no reset option that can permanently lock players out of progression, along with inconsistent voice acting quality and a story that doesn't quite compensate for the puzzle frustrations.

The puzzles are hard and that's fine. However there is a puzzle where there are 10 metal balls that need to be maneuvered in to certain spots on the floor. If you make a mistake; there is no reset and you are done; you can not undo the mistake and you can not progress to the remainder of the game. I would recommend that the maker's of this game put a reset button on a pedestal near this game that would restart the game with all balls back in their original positions. Not everyone, including me can imagine and plan out all 50+ moves it takes to complete this puzzle successful; especially when you have no control over which direction the ball will move when you click on it. Fix this issue and you'll have a very good game that could be recommended by most of those who play it. OTHER THAN this one issue; the game was great up to the point I could no longer play it due to this issue.

Fantastic 3-D modeling, sometimes awkward spoken English, many puzzles, and some of the puzzles made a lot of sense, some did not (listen for clues). Overall a good 3-D puzzle game.

The dislikes: puzzles are downright silly. Three gears to descend or ascend a platform. Complete guesswork. Absolutely no idea what each gear actually does. In a walkthrough they say one gear is 146 another 6 and the third 1!!. where the numbers from!!?? even in the walkthrough the person doesnt say how they know this? ( a dev maybe who knows) such a shame because the puzzles are the only dislike I have. The likes: as in schizm 1 and 2 wonderful scenes and worlds. Good acting especially from Amia. Bogards voice was annoying though. I didnt know what he meant when he said his sister (Amia) was ALMOST his fiancee?????? !!!!!!!!!! not a bad story but not great.

The Verdict Wet Noodle - The experience is mostly bad. (played in English) The Good Some cool visuals / interesting locations The Bad Terrible voice acting paired with an incoherent story. You somewhat need to experience the voice acting to know how bad it is. Puzzle design - both 1 engaging with puzzles and 2 logic (or lack there of). 1 Engagement issues - Puzzles don't have great feedback mechanisms in many cases. You try to test what you have done to help decern the correct answer but the design hinders discovery. EX - bridge puzzle allows you to walk over planks that you should fall through and then you fall through in the middle of the bridge if the input is incorrect, but being able to walk over planks of the wrong input leads you to draw incorrect conclusions. 2 Logic issues - as with other reviews, many of the puzzles are just trial and error (chapter 4 bridge gears, chapter 5 power box arrows). Others are just a matrix - locate numerical inputs from several sources, put them in a grid (final chapter), ta da - both filling in blanks or determining overlap to find the right solution. It feels like trial and error because you often have to go through and map every potenti…

Difficult, tedious and boring puzzles, without a strong enough narrative to keep me playing. Gave up about half way through.
