About Neurowake
Neurowake is a team-based FPS game, designed exclusively for VR. Choose between one of five epic heroes, each with their own unique weapons and skills and compete across a variety of environments and match types.
The Awakening brought chaos to the world, tearing it to pieces and setting up the foundation for a new global order, new threats, allies, and obstacles to overcome. Separated by ideology and belief, you must take on the responsibility of a member loyal to the UWC or choose to stand for freedom with the resistance. Whatever your decision - it's time to prove your worth on the battlefield.

the game has potential,but after getting accustomed to track pad style of movement the teleport/zoom machanic destroys all imersion and feels dead.refund on this for me.26 found this helpful
Neurowake is a fun VR FPS which utilizes teleportation movement very well, making the experience very comfortable. The small maps look great and can create some intense gameplay, even when playing one on one! I hope to see more variety in weapons and characters in future updates.7 found this helpful
Neurowake is a competitive shooter, a slippery kind of game in VR: players interested in multiplayer are not enough and mainly focused on just a couple of titles. In fact during my tries I can't find any opponent. Where this can't be addressed to devs, and can't be used to give a bad review, it's surely something to consider for a potential customer. Neurowake - at the moment at least - miss any AI bot, it offers just a training mode with waves or "brainless" mechs than is extremely poor and boring. I was optimistic about the game at his start: 3.7GB to download, Vive X Accelerator support and I like any original solution for locomotion than put comfort as main goal, that "chessboard teleportation" looked something than worth a try. From the tech side, it's an hit-and-miss because we find some sharp textures and good menus and UI, cool musics, mixed with so so environments and bland and toylike weapons. Chessboard teleportation is a nice idea and is actually ideal for stairs, but it's hard to me say how well this can work in a real match with humans, in the training was just horrible because you need to run up and down and you can't. Disclaimer: I've got a free copy from UPLOADVR tweeter Neurowake is a big mixbag of feeling for me. The game feels very weak at this moment, the way you "move" in this game is really god-awful (this has to be the worst move implementation I've ever seen).5 found this helpful
This game is a blast! Unfortunately, there aren't many players online, which reduces it to the training mode. I really hope this will get some more attention soon. Feels a little bit like Overwatch in VR.5 found this helpful
The game is fun. Graphics are polished. You shoot waves of mech enemies while protecting your base. The mechs look cool and firefights can be intense. you'll find yourself pinned down shooting through the cracks in the wall. It uses a locomotion style that takes a bit of strategy and forces you to use cover. It's not really about moving around quickly. more about finding a spot. You have to watch the number of moves before hitting a cooldown or you find yourself exposed. Multiplayer would probably be cool but servers are empty right now. Luckily single player mode is fun, sort of feels like a Star Wars wave shooter with the droids.4 found this helpful
