New Stars

This game has some pretty high potential, but I can't say it's for me at this time. I'm sceptical as to whether much if any QA testing has been done prior to release, as the first issues were apparent on opening the game. So far, in less than 5 minutes of gameplay, I've had the two issues: - I cannot adjust the screen resolution so I'm playing the game at 1440p but it is only rendering at 480/720p causing lots of artifacts - The UI is very vague and non-descript, I can't always tell what buttons do from their appearance. Otherwise, the game looks like it has great potential and is possibly going to be a heavy hitter, but in it's current state I cannot really play it due to the poor visual quality, and I cannot recommend it for these reasons. It is early access and issues are to be expected, so I might return to this game in future, maybe after full release.

Visual quality is very poor and has a long way to go before it is ready to compete against other games similar to it. The functionality of the game is clunky and in comparison to Stellaris or MoO2, they game leaves a lot to be desired. From the basic navigation of the stars require WASD to move the universe rather than with the mouse is extremely clunky. Space combat is completely automated into the summary screen and you can't even watch the battle. Getting from overlay mode into actual star mode is very clunky as well. In my opinion, this game needs another year or so of hardcore development to be anywhere near ready.

Well I have to agree that this game is very interesting and has a great potential with a fun gameplay, and I believe there is still a lot to improve, polish and could be very great in the future with good development. I think that this game is recommendable and I'd still play this game sometime when I get bored from other games and I find it playable even in this state.

An Interesting Stellaris Light, that is fun in it's own way. needs some work on the UI (popups on things that don't have descriptions IE (what difficulty Means, features on planets, maybe a way to see what planets are in a system without going into it) Dilpomace is stange as the aliens will want to trade and then after a bit they will denounce you.

I have 9 hours into the game and I would recommend this game. Its got good exploration, expansion, exploit and exterminate mechanics. It is also what I would call an RTS that you can pause to setup orders for your planets and navies. I'm neutral about combat. It's automatic and a pop up comes up so you watch hit point numbers decrease and the only thing you can control is retreat. There maybe more, but I didn't see it. So far I haven't discovered how to increase the amount of Power I recieved each month, but that's only because I may not have enough time in the game to find out how too. Now for the negatives. It is extremely hard to choose between System screen, ships and system map. I had to have the system in the middle of the screen and slowly move the cursor until the item I wanted could be selected. If the system you wanted was not in the middle I was basically unable to select it. Even it there were no ships there. I also had problems selecting systems for my ships. I had to have the system I wanted near the middle of the screen. Also the cursor was to large and covered the text when you hovered over the resources info in the upper left of the screen.
