Nine Lives

[b]nine lives[/b] is a cat-based isometric puzzler with excellent voxel-based presentation from the developer behind the amazing [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/dohi64/recommended/1113690]senna and the forest[/url], among other things. I'm not a fan of cats (to put it mildly) and I think they're seriouly over-represented in video games, as they are in real life, but in this case their presence is justified because of the whole nine lives thing. the cat starts with a single life and has to earn the rest by completing various trials. it's basically [b]one of those cloning and timing games[/b] where you have to do something, then create another iteration of yourself, then do something else while the first one retraces your steps, etc. or in this case, kill the current cat and start moving another while the previous one's ghost does its thing. movement uses energy, which I found unnecessary at first and it won't be an issue for quite some time, but comes into play later. and of course grabbing more lives in later areas won't let you use them in earlier ones to trivialize those puzzles. besides stepping on pressure plates, there are shooting plants, mice to catch (if spooked, they …

it is okay but world 2 is broken, there is a puzzle where you need to catch 5 mice and open a door, but it glitches when you catch the 5 mice to open the door it thinks the levels over before you open the real door, the round the mulberry bush level is glitched. it works now guess it didn't load properly one time

Really good game! I never played a puzzle game that challenged me this hard! Was not expecting that. 10/10, cool cat puzzles! The graphics and level design are awesome too!

Игра 'Nine Lives' - это очаровательный платформер-головоломка, который зацепил меня с первых минут. Идея с девятью жизнями, которые можно использовать для решения головоломок, реализована просто гениально. Каждый раз, когда кот гибнет в ловушке, его "призрак" остаётся на месте, физически взаимодействуя с окружающей средой и помогая в дальнейшем прохождении. Графика в игре приятна глазу, она выполнена в мультяшном стиле, но без излишней детскости. Головоломки заставляют хорошенько пораскинуть мозгами, они не слишком сложные, но и не дают заскучать. Особенно интересно планировать свои действия, учитывая ограниченное число попыток. Единственный минус, который я бы отметил - это немного короткая продолжительность. Хотелось бы больше уровней и более сложных головоломок. В целом, 'Nine Lives' - отличная игра для тех, кто любит платформеры с изюминкой. Она точно стоит своих денег и подарит вам несколько часов увлекательного геймплея. Рекомендую!
