9 Lives To Escape, developed and published by LapaGames, is a precision platformer built around a straightforward but demanding concept that emphasizes reflexes, timing, and persistence. The game follows the familiar philosophy of classic arcade platformers where success is not determined by upgrades or complex mechanics, but by the player’s ability to master movement through repetition and practice. At its core, the experience is about navigating a series of carefully constructed levels filled with traps, spikes, and dangerous obstacles while controlling a small cat determined to survive each challenge. The premise revolves around the well-known myth that cats possess nine lives, and the game cleverly incorporates this idea directly into its gameplay structure. Very fun game but needs more work done. Music would be nice. Restart button as level 2 isn't finished so after you fall... that's your game done :) 7 mins of playtime currently but won't refund to help the dev's.2 found this helpful

The pixel art style is charming and reminds me of classic SEGA platformers, but don't let the cute cat fool you - this game will humble you quickly. Sure, it's frustrating as hell when you lose all 9 lives and have to restart the entire level, but that's exactly what makes finally beating it so satisfying. It's like the developers took the DNA of Super Meat Boy and Celeste and cranked the difficulty up to 11. Minor complaint: could really use a settings menu for customization options. But honestly, for what it is - a pure, no-frills test of platforming skills - it delivers perfectly. If you're looking for a chill gaming experience, look elsewhere. But if you want to prove you've got what it takes and don't mind dying... a lot... then this orange furball will give you exactly the challenge you're seeking.…
