Players appreciate the game's intriguing premise and Felicia Day's voice acting performance, which draws them into the mystery. However, many find the core gameplay mechanic—pairing random topic combinations to unlock clips—tedious and more like brute-forcing than actual puzzle-solving, making the experience feel better suited as a film than an interactive game. While some players find the slow-burn mystery and satisfying ending worthwhile, others lose interest halfway through the monotonous clip-viewing process.
Interesting idea with a decent story but I feel it falls a bit flat. The interactive element of it all doesn't feel enough like problem solving and more like brute forcing in many cases because you have to get a random detail from two categories that didn't really make sense it would lead somewhere. After a while it just feels tedious and feels like it would play almost better as just a film. The ending is decent where things tie together to what/how has been said but you don't really get any more interaction here, no trying to solve it but rather see how it plays out. Enjoyed it somewhat but mostly felt like I wanted to see if it got better and I did not enjoy it enough that I would have bought it knowing how I feel about it now.4 found this helpful
If you like Felicia Day, you will enjoy this game. I think she's excellent, so I liked it. It is however, incredibly boring. You'll zone out after about 45 minutes of "guessing" which two words to associate. While your mileage may vary, I found this dragging only about halfway through, and I thought the acting was amazing.3 found this helpful
Nice short game, about 4 hours long. Basically you follow a story of someone's life through watching 276 short clips of their interview in therapy session. You don't have to find some special secrets, you can just go through each combination of topic pairs and watch all clips to get access to the final piece. Sadly two achievements didn't unlock for me at the end even though related actions in game were completed, but other than that there were no issues with the game itself.3 found this helpful
This game was really quite fun. It was a slow burn procedural mystery with Felicia Day's character, Jennifer, drawing you in, getting you to care about the character that has you wanting to learn more about her life, friends and mystery surrounding her dream. The ending is quite satisfying as you feel as sense of relief for Jennifer once you have solved the mystery that has been haunting her dreams. It was quite the enjoyable experience made even more fun with Felicia Day as the lead character If you like mysteries, piecing together clues as you slowly gather the clues, you will love this game. Highly recommended,1 found this helpful
